A E-bay purchase to repair a motherboard New GPU. Failed twice and found out it a NEW GPU was never installed. Process described and equipment used id untrue. Based on detail from the board itself it was "baked" to re-ball the same GPU twice. False advertising

User's recommendation: Avoid -- At all costs.

I sent my MacBook Air to Brick Fence thru eBay for liquid damaged. I took pictures of the motherboard prior to sending it. When I got it back, it was in the exact same condition. One of the IC part on the motherboard was still severely damaged and burnt. After installing the motherboard, the problem was still the same (turns on and chimes but nothing shows on the display). I contacted the seller and sent him photos of the before and after pics, he told me to ship it back, but I had to pay for shipping again for something that was not fixed. Back and forth arguing about that they tested and works. They blamed other components not working. Took it to a different repair tech and they replaced the burnt ic part and works perfectly. They said the previous repair tech did not know what he was doing since the burnt part was clearly needed replacing.

User's recommendation: Don't trust this MacBook repair company.
