The public food waste bin in *** in the ****** is regularly ransacked by rough-sleepers, drug addicts, and alcoholics; this causes an environmental hazard in the *** area. Fly-tipping, mostly involving furniture, is also taking place.
Yet the council is focusing on fleecing residents by sending an investigation team to look for individuals' details amongst the litter left behind by those who rummage through the bins, and then issuing those residents with fines of no less than £200.
Talking about local councils running out of cash, I hope this is not a new tactic they're using to make money out of residents.
Preferred solution: Drop their case against me for claiming that I caused environmental hazard, due to spotting litter with my name on.
User's recommendation: The council needs to focus on solving the underlying issues. Fly-tipping is big problem, big pieces of furniture are causing road traffic hazards. Neighbourhood watch scheme needs to be exercised in this area
