Months of waiting.....
My daughter was seen at the Bremen eye clinic July 1st of this year in which she was told she would need glasses so we ordered them using our insurance (peachstate/medicaid) here it is October 3 and she has still yet to receive her glasses. I have been told one thing after another when calling and always told they will check into it and call me back which they never do, the only explanation I ever get is that these glasses threw this insurance are made in prison at Hays state prison ok who cares where or who makes them why are they not here... My son was also seen the say day he has received his glasses and contact ( same insurance same appointment day) also my husband was seen 2 weeks later ( same insurance) and he has also received his glasses. These people truly dont care about there customers satisfaction. We are a family of 6, 8 including my parents as well and they have truly lost all our business.

Rude Customer Service Review
Dr Cowart is extremely racist and rude towards Hispanic patients! I've experienced his racism and rudeness more than once. Unless you are white, I would suggest Carrollton Eye Clinic

Rude, unprofessional, incompetent
This is the most unprofessional bunch of idiots I have ever encountered. On the day before my scheduled appointment, they call after 5 pm and don't leave a message when I failed to answer. The next morning (the day of the appointment) they call to confirm my appointment that afternoon. When I get there later that day, they say that they no longer accept my insurance and that they tried to call and tell me that yesterday. When I informed them I had actually spoken to them that very morning and no one mentioned anything about it, they just shrugged their shoulders and laughed. Avoid these idiots like the plague, They are rude, unprofessional. and the office is dirty with outdated equip

Unprofessional administrative staff at optometry office financially rips off patients
Dr. Dennis Cowart's eye clinic office in Bremen, Ga has the absolute worse administrative staff to be found. I went there for an inexpensive pair of glasses, found what I needed, paid for them without using my VSP. I spent around $180 for the glasses. I was reserving my VSP for the contacts I wanted to order. I was told that the price after my VSP coverage for the contacts would be $10. I ordered the contacts and when I went to go and pick them up--I was told that I needed to pay an additional $70 for an image fee. I am pissed becuase I specifically asked what i needed to pay and was told $10. I told them to send the contacts back and I would get them elsewhere. Now I am still screwed because they used my VSP for the $70

First; get clarification of what that "image fee" is for. If it's related to a CL exam and your RX, it must be discounted by 15% whether you are using your allowance for it or not.
Did the office have you sign a form of notification?
If the office did not inform you of this charge, take it up with the office manager and push hard.
2nd; Even if they did bill your insurance allowance for the discounted CL exam, you may have a remaining allowance to use for contacts. Call VSP for clarification.
