They damaged my car

Recently I was driving on a windy day and I noticed loose windshield rubber molding. I called Bredemann Toyota. Their service advisor Johan (Joe) Sanchez suggested me to stop by. After looking at the molding Joe said that they would take care of it and they would not charge me. This is the end of the nice part of the story. After receiving my car 15 minutes later, I noticed numerous notches repeatedly placed parallel to each other right on that part of the molding which was loose. I asked Joe what was a reason for those notches. He said that the damage was there before they took the car in. Then I asked: "Why didn't you mention that to me?" His response was: "I assumed that you knew it" Talking to Johan Sanchez, his manager Mike Cooper and one of the owners John Bredemann was one-way communication - meaning, they would talk but they would not give you chance to speak about your concerns. They offered all kinds of excuses but never offered a solution, except for trying to charge me $450 for the damaged part replacement.

Bredemann TOYOTA

Yesterday I have one of the worst experience with them. I mean they are good (at least that is what I used to think about them). They have ruined my whole day with their service. I had maintenance with my SIENNA. Every thing was fine and on time. As a happy customer I was driving to home but I suddenly found out that driver seat belt was all the way loosen and stuck. I came back and asked them to fix it they saying it was like that when I drove in.... Ok.. It might have been like that maybe I didn't know it but they supposed to let me know about this when they check the car in. While they were servicing my car they offered me Steering wheel liquid change service and battery replacement and engine timing belt replacement service but did not mention about drivers seat belt issue. The lack of their professionalism and lack training and lack communication cost me 2 hours and 150 dollars. I have left this palce very disappointed and frustrated. I talked to manager I was gonna tell him that they need to improve their communication skills for but instead he did not listen me completely he just called the salesperson and ended up that I could not telll what I wanted to tell and he left screaming at me "WHAT HE COULD DO??!!!" I will never ever gonna go for their service.

Even If I knew about my belt was stuck they were supposed to notify me when they check my car in for service. That is the reason that I am pissed off. It is a question of driver safety....

As I mentioned before. This belt had never stuck like that.

It was actually the first time it happened. Only thing I am not sure about is if it was stuck like that when I gave my car to service. Even it was stuck like that they failed to inform me. That is the main idea.

Anyways I don't care about it anymore. I will never go to Bredemann Car Service again. I won't even go to any Bredemann car dealership or car services.

:( :( :(

Bredemann lost a customer and I have already started telling my friend to not go to Bredemann anymore. That is all I can do.

Sounds like you knew about the belt before the service. How can you blame them for something that you knew about before.

I had my own shop a while back and Bredemann services my cars now. I have been very happy for many years.
