They tried it with me...

I had read online from several people that this company will give you a 24 hour cancellation time. As soon as that time frame comes around, they will call you claiming you were "a number off" on your credit card information. By the time the game playing is done...you've gone past 24 hours. They claim since you didn't have all of this cleared up in that time frame that your flight is cancelled and your only option is to pay for a much higher priced ticket, as "prices have changed sine yesterday." They did it to me, VERBATIM in their word usage, as I read online. They will also ask for scans of your credit card (both sides), photo ID or driver's license, and some totally unnecessary paper along with that. NO other company I know of has ever done that. I am terrified they will screw up my travel plans just before I am set to leave. This trip is extremely important and I feel very uneasy after that.

Excellent Experience loyal customer:)

No do not listen to poster i and my friends ONLY use brasil express for flights to brasil me personally for 5 years never had even a slight problem! Im sure they are not perfect but it is not a scam or anything of the sort they just negotiate fares with the leading airlines and they are good at it! Do not take my word for it look anywhere online for brasil flights no site even comes close to brasillian express not even close! Their prices are low because remember they sell a lot of tickets and the airlines want those seats filled it is really simple mathematics really but not a scam!

After hours trying to solve this, they finally agreed I was right and sold me the ticket at the first price. I had to talk to several people and was very stressful.

I can honestly say that they did solve this and I appreciate the respect. Thank you.

Do not purchase with this company!!! I found an excellent deal and went ahead and got the ticket. An email with confirmation was supposed to arrive within 24 hours. Email never came, so I called. They said I gave them the wrong credit card number and now the price went up!!! IT IS NOT TRUE!!! I tripled check the numbers on the form and there's NO WAY it was wrong. I had them read me back the number I typed and they read something completely different than my card. This is a SCAM and I will do what I can to make sure everyone knows!!!

Thank you for the advice. I was about to buy 3 tickets with them because of the price I would save and I would have been very frustrated if something like this happened afterwards!!

Unconfirmed Reservations

Normally, I wouldn't complain but I am upset enough to complain because of how poorly this company handled the situation. I booked a flight and shortly after recieved an e-mail saying that my itinerary was not confirmed and that they would call or e-mail me as soon as possible about it. Two days passed so I thought I should call them to inquire about my reservation. The girl told me she couldn't find my reservation, but my credit card had not been charged. Strange, I thought. Next, she tells me I have to pay an addition $400 to keep my reservation for a 33% increase on my original reservation. I firmly asked for an explanation and when I recieved it, it didn't make any sense. She told me that she has no record of it at the price that I purchased it my ticket at. Thank god I printed a web pdf of my reservation adn told her that I have proof that I purchased a ticket. I firmly told her that it is not my fault that your prices changed. She the transferred me to a manager who told me that fares can change without notice (in the fine print of the e-mail). I understand minor variances, I told her, but a 33% fare hike was simply a ripoff. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL LOW BALL YOU TO BRING YOU IN AND AT THE LAST MINUTE YOU'LL FIND OUT THAT YOUR FARE HAS CHANGED SO YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO BUY FROM THEM AT THE LAST MOMENT. Good thing my credit card hasn't been charged, yet.
