Cannot schedule, hoax?
I got a cold call about a Branson Getaway about a year ago. Over that time I have been trying to all the 800 number for over three months.
No one answers, it just goes directly to hold type of music. I tried the non 800 number from the e-mail confirmation and it has been disconnected. They charged my CC over a year ago and now it looks like if I can't get this scheduled in the next couple weeks (when I am available) they will charge me a bunch more for my fulfilling my part of the obligation. Is there another phone number to contact them with?
I do not want to do online. I want to talk to someone over the phone.

Branson Get Aways, This is a timeshare pitch and we knew this going in but be prepared the first thing they will do is run your credit. They don't give you the option to refuse as it is seen as not fulfilling your requirements for the promotion, which then they will bill you for.
So we proceeded with the promo, along with a group of about 20 other couples. Our personal rep was Nick, and he was a really nice fella while he was thinking he had us hooked, but he clearly was a changed person when we decided it was not anything we were interested in. He then tried to convince us that we needed this, and even brought his personal problems (pending divorce which may or may not be true....) into the equation to show us what could happen to us. Very unprofessional Nick... Sorry about your problems but after 30 years together I'd like to think I learned more about my family life.
After we firmly said no and we didn't want it he turned us over to a different guy who tried to do the same but my husband cut him off and said we don't want this!! So on the way out we were treated like we were nobody's by all. This was our last day in town and we wanted to get on down the road anyway.
Just a heads up resort people if you put folks up in the units you are trying to sell you might sell a few more, plus cut out the middleman on hotel stays....Let us see how it really could be as an owner. We stayed at The Stone Castle and it was very nice and off the strip so it was quiet and peaceful to sleep or just relax on the deck.Best part of this mess for sure...Wont do this again...BEWARE!!!!!

Not Happy
Just another time share .I got in an argument with the owner john something. I could've saved money buy making my own reservations. Surprised that they are in business.
Paid for trip we thought was a chartered bus trip. I am 75 and my husband is 86.
Just wanted some information. But got high pressured into paying for trip and charging $299.00 to my credit card.
When I received info, no mention of tour bus. So I called and asked about it. The lady said there was no tour. I told her my husband or I could not drive at night.
She said maybe we could get someone to bring us. I am sure I am way too gullible. Would love to be able to get money back. Guess I just acted too fast without thinking it through and my husband was sitting there while I was talking and he thought it was a bus trip also and encouraged me if that was what I wanted to do.
It happens when you get old and can't think fast. But really can't afford to lose that kind of money.

Branson Getaways - Wyndham Hotels And Resorts Customer Care Review from Dardanelle, Arkansas
This was a total scam, last year I bought it for $249.00, was for 2 nights and then after a 2 hour tour with Wyndham time share i would be given a 5-7 day cruise. Well Wyndham was nice untill 2 1/2 hours later we said no not for us.
Then we were shuffled to a desk where the man gave papers to a lady and told her to get us out of there. Then we drove to another location to get our cruise voucher where he tried to get us to sign up for something else stating if we went we would get back 150.00 and i would have to give him $20.00 now and they would fix our breakfast and then I would get back $170.00. He assured us it was not a sales presentation but clearly on the paper you had to have an annual income of 40 thousand or more. Well when i said no thats enough he said well go and i will give you $200.00.
The map showed no road and it appeared to just have an old metal shed, map was hand drawn, we were not going to do this. Well called today about my free cruise and its not free. It would cost another $ 400.00 dollars for 1A cabin which is bunk beds. The lady i spoke with was nice and there was no reason to be mad with her.
This is the first time I had ever done this and my last. I could have done the whole Branson thing on my own a lot cheaper.
Branson Getaways and Club Wyndham Timeshare Rip Off
The places Windsor is mentioned should state Westgate. My apologies Windsor--new phone. It's too bad I cant edit this.
I agreed to go on a Branson Getaways Vacation on the condition that I attend a short timeshare class, which I did. At first, I was annoyed and very irritated with this catch.
I decided to open up to the possibility and listen. I was very interested in finding ways for my family to have more quality time, especially with my health and stress levels. I was interested in the timeshare; however, it took much longer than it should have to find out any information, and I was late for an event I had already paid for (and advised them about beforehand) so I had changed my mind about even wanting the timeshare and was leaving. They caught me on my way to the elevator and had worked out a deal that would work for me.
When they went over it, it sounded great, and it fit my budget so I agreed to return the next day. I was more than 45 minutes late for my event that I had paid for on my first day of vacation (what my little boy had been most excited about). I went back to Wyndham the next day as arranged and another manager was assisting and it took longer than expected. He thought everything had been reviewed, but getting all of this paperwork done still took several hours (another day out of my vacation--my child literally cried and I felt like *** for believing this would only take a small amount of time).
When I was going over the contract and signing papers, I noticed a paypal amount due. In addition to my Club Wyndham financed amount of almost $10,000 there was an almost $8,000 paypal loan, which surprised me (no down payment means they're putting an additional loan debt on you apparently and that is not a good thing to "qualify" for). I was very nervous and wanted to back out. I did consider it.
I was still believing everything I was told about the timeshare and equity and saving money and thought it would force me to take vacation time. Yes, I am regretting my lack of judgment. I have read numerous reviews that it will cost me more money in addition to what I am paying and the use of points won't get me that far (though the points are supposed to cover it). Also, all of my information has been mailed to my physical address and returned and I have had a hassle trying to get my information.
I recently opened a credit karma account and discovered I had a bank account with a balance and it was the Club Wyndham Rewards Card with charges to it by Club Wyndham for the timeshare. I have not even received the card and it has over $200 worth of charges to it (and they are LATE). I just spoke with a 3rd party company who sells timeshares and learned that though Club Wyndham Access is a preferred timeshare, there are a lot of sellers and not so many buyers. If you owe anything, you cannot sell it.
If you do sell it, the maximum you will sell it for is $10,800 (p.s. they will tell you if you change your mind at any time, you can get out of the timeshare, but that is not true. you must first find a buyer through a 3rd party seller--good luck with that). So be advised, it is not worth your time or money.
Due to my health, I have had to miss a lot of work and spent some time in the hospital. I have not been able to stay on top of this and pursue this information like I should have (God forbid I should be busy with personal and family illness, deaths, crisis, work, and my child's life). I finally looked up the phone number to Customer Service and tried to express my frustration and seek some kind of resolution, but the representative was not very understanding or helpful--I feel very misled and inconvenienced. Moreover, she insisted I did not provide my mailing address because only my physical address was on my contact card, which I tried to explain to her I put my mailing address on all of the forms and explained that is where I get my mail (all of this was filled out in a hurry with the rep at the start of the class--as he was busy beforehand).
Customer Service is what determines whether or not a company is worth my time, and this one is really not my favorite. I am overwhelmed, and someone who listens and cares and tries to help would be wonderful to have on the other end of that phone. Now, I have other things coming up and this timeshare has been anything but helpful to me (quality time with family, relaxation, vacation, blah blah blah--this is so not it for a single parent juggling work, school, bills, health, etc.). I do not recommend it at all--if you have that amount of money and you will actually get any kind of use out of it, then maybe it is worthwhile, but I am not reading any good reviews.
I honestly just wanted to go on a vacation with my child during his break, and not only did this ruin our vacation, waste my leave from work, it has really caused a lot of stress and frustration. They thought that I was doing this for a "free cruise for 2" that I have no interest in taking. I did try to give it away, but no one wants to pay the taxes. I just wanted a vacation with my family and some time away.
I still haven't gotten that, but in my hopes of finding time for that, I have acquired a whole new kind of stress and various "bills" to juggle (after finally getting through to paypal, when I was not able to access my account for over 2 months as the information wasn't matching I couldn't get through the automated system, and then learning of the rewards card balance and Googling that company and getting that card sent, after the payment is already late). Branson Getaways says they will give you a vacation on them if you aren't satisfied with your trip. I haven't contacted them at all because I cannot afford another vacation like this. I did not get a vacation and spent my whole trip rushing around and trying to squeeze everything I could into a couple days.
Then I was even more disappointed that I was not permitted any leave from work during the holidays for Thanksgiving or Christmas because I took that break. I've been trying to give that cruise away, but so far I can't find any takers. For anyone who has been wondering, please do not waste your time. Also, when I was leaving dinner, I was asked to go to Windsor to find out how to save money in Branson, and when I arrived at Windsor, they treated me like garbage because they said I am a woman with an income under $50,000 (which if they had taken the time to visit with me they would have found out my other income and I might have been complaining more about Windsor--my nicest word about the people working there is SNOBBY).
Basically, if it is a timeshare or there is some gimmick attached to get you a great deal, just run from it, go out of your way to get around it and make your own arrangements and just be very blunt and rude about saying NO! For that matter, if there is a nice person there just doing his or her job and passing out information and explaining how you can learn about how to see these shows or anything at all, you should probably just run.
It's hard for me to do that because I work a job where I deal with some of the most awful people all day long, and I would hate to be that person. That's the person I want to be to all of these people right now.
Substandard accommodations
It is unfortunate that I went through Branson Getaways because had I went directly through the hotel, my stay would have 35% cheaper. I imagine the upcharge was for the Guest Discount Book, tickets to the Grand Jubilee (which I didn't use either), and Wyndam "tour".
The tactics of the Wyndam "tour" staff was inappropriate, unacceptable & inexcusable because NO means NO.
The Barrington Hotel, where they put me up @ was substandard, the bed linen was from the 70s & my room was infected with ants.
I declined the cruise voucher because if the ship was as substandard as the rest of my experience, I wanted no parts of it.
Resolved: NEVER AGAIN...everyone kept passing the buck
After a lot of e-mails and traditional mail. I got my full refunds for everything. I have been taken off the "CALL" list..Thank God for that
I am still waiting. I disputed this with my credit card company and have been in touch with the BBB.
Branson said that they would give me my $ back with a dispute.
A lot of trouble. Should know something soon!!!
Against our better judgment, we booked a getaway knowing about the Time share tour. We get a call confirming everything a week before we go, everything was the same. We get there (hard to find the welcome center) the show tickets were wrong; they had to fix it; same group in a different kind of show, didn't get to hear 2 hours of Gospel music.
The food voucher was wrong, but they corrected that.
The room accommodations were wrong; I asked for king bed...they wrote on the reservation king bed IF POSSIBLE, when I insisted on king bed and if possible a nice view, we had to switch rooms after the 2nd night in order to stay.
Everything (pool and breakfast) was supposed to be under one roof at hotel, NOT so. The free breakfast was very cheap. The hotel staff were very nice about trying to give us what we originally asked for though.
The only thing that was absolutely correct was the Time Share Tour; time and place.
We almost bought the time shares, but changed our minds after realizing that if we willed this to someone that we'd be willing them a $500+ maintenance fee for life of ownership also. We mailed the cancellation letter this morning. What a disaster...NEVER AGAIN.
We went back to the welcome center to complain about a few things and was told to call customer service on Monday....passed the buck...I was told when I booked this that this was a money back guarantee...we'll see when I finally get through.
The hotel, the time share place and the booking agency all blamed the other for our accommodations being wrong...so far nobody will take responsibility, they all claim that none have anything to do with the other, even when it's clear as day that they are all in bed together!!!

Branson Getaways - Salesperson Review
Went to Wyndham time share. Have never in my life been so disrespected!
After saying several times that we couldn't afford to buy at this time after 4 hrs we said it was time to go & another sales person came over & he said what's the problem &we said we could not afford at this time he stuck the voucher out & said get out of here then. We didn't even take the voucher!
Very unprofessional! Not a happy camper!

I can't type the security code. The message says I have the wrong one, and I've tried several ways and there is no alternative to make sure that it's correct or another code.
Please people,if you want us to use this service, make it so that if we miss the first code, that we can either hear the code or get another one.
I am so pissed at a company that I just did business with that I want to warn others of the deceptive tactics. I can't do it, if the code doesn't work.
Branson Getaways lied and cheated us out of $$
After an unpleasant interaction with the owner... we came to an equitable agreement. All in all, the hassle factor keeps me from recommending this company to anyone.
Branson Getaways gave us free show tickets if we would tour Wyndom resorts... sold us on the fact we could transfer our timeshare points.
When we found out we could not transfer points, they refused to let us just purchase tickets... charged us a $65 'service fee'. I tried several times just to pay my fair share of the tickets. They told me..quote "in a perfect world that would happen, but you already signed"...
to bad for me.
Extremely hostile people. Run from this group, do not trust a thing they say- don't get suckered by these money grubbers.
Do not use their service!
I should have known something was up when a week before our trip, they changed our accomodations. I called because I was concerned and of course they smoothed things over.
We get to Branson and the directions to their office our incorrect. I just don't feel like they had us in mind.
Get to the hotel they booked and I should've went w/my gut feeling. It was horrible. The free breakfast they promised was cereal! We did npt enjoy it at all.
Needless to say, I won't use their service or recommend it to anyone else.

I bought the package also, I just called to day for info on my cruise 8-8-18, this place is out of business, I took my Hotel stay and 2 1/2hr. of this man trying to sell me time share.
So I still had my cruise and a 5 night Hotel stay anywhere to go. But both of my certificates now says expired.
But on my letters they are not. I don't like to get ripped off.
