Wonderful Breeder
I have known Joanie for about nine years, I am also a small in home breeder just like Joanie, she helped me get started and always emphasized only breeding healthy social dogs and stay small so you can spend time socializing and caring for you dogs and puppies. I find it hard to believe that she would not stand behind any puppy she has raised and try and help the people that have adopted from her, I actually believe this. Could be another breeder trying to make her look bad, because she has tons of happy families and healthy puppies as she has been raising them for 30 years, if not then I would suggest calling her and discussing it with her, because I know for a fact she has so much compassion and will help. She represents her family for sales of puppies and they all have their own breed they raise, that is why she advertises other breeds, she only breeds the Poodles and one Yorkie, her dogs all live in her home, last time I was there she only had four breeding Poodles and one Yorkie, so I would hardly call that a puppy mill, they all where sleeping on the couch, lol Leave this good lady alone

Puppy Mill Breeder
This person has ads all over the internet for puppies and she is running a puppy mill. You will find that she has many breeds of all kinds, as she has them breeding over and over on the property. I was sold a dog who was sick, and cost me over 1200.00 in Vet bills...

No idea who this is and have NEVER had anyone call to say there dog died , why anonymous?? Come forward with your name, if this is true why make a anonymous complaint on a generic site, come forward, give me a call , if indeed this was true I would feel horrible and would only want to make it right. A lot of people are against breeders so they make anonymous complaints on these sites that are not true, have NEVER had anyone call me about this complaint!!

Www.rehbergerspuppyluv.com Rehberger Rehbergers
This company is affiliated with the person I purchased a very sick dog from. The dogs cost me around $1,000 to purchase. I bought the puppy from Brainerd Bones and Biscuits. The owner is now selling dogs on www.rehbergerspuppyluv.com and I suspect various other websites. The person who sold me my dog is Joan or Joanie Hebert. I love my dog, but it has a variety of expensive hereditary health issues. Please use extreme caution when buying a dog online. Go to a shelter and save a dog. I just visited this website and it is my opinion that this breeder is selling and breeding far too many dogs. Be smart. Don't let cute pictures fool you.

Joan Hebert Joanie Hebert Minnesota puppies dogs
This person sells dogs on various websites. She operates out of Minnesota. She sold me a very sick puppy with expensive hereditary medical problems as documented by my veterinarian. Please don't buy dogs or puppies online or from newspaper ads. Go to the Humane Society, Animal Ark, or another rescue organization to find a "used" pet. Spend some time online researching "puppy mills" before buying a dog online. I investigated this breeder. I trusted her. I went to her breeding facility, which looked acceptable. Still, the dog I received was very sick and the seller was less than kind or responsive to my problems. I was very disappointed with this transaction. I am using the kindest words possible about this unpleasant and expensive experience.

Www.tiptopwebsite.com Brainerd Bones and Biscuits / Hebert
Joanie from Brainerd Bones and Biscuits, also found at www.tiptopwebsite.com, sold me a very sick puppy. It has MULTIPLE very expensive health problems (seizures/collapsing trachea/bad teeth/patellar luxation). When advised that the dog was sick she advised me that the dog was not one that she bred. She then explained that she got it from another breeder that she didn't investigate who turned out to be a puppy mill. She sold the dog as hers until the dog was found to be sick. Again, the dog came from Brainerd Bones and Biscuits, also known as Brainerd Bones and Biscuit's. The owner is Joanie Hebert. The business is located in Brainerd, Minnesota. She seems like a very nice old lady until the sale is complete. AVOID. Also avoid www.puppyfind.com. If you are looking for a nice dog, go to google, type in the breed you are looking for with "rescue" and you will find every breed has dogs in rescue that need good homes. www.petfinder.com is another resource for rescue dogs.

Brainerd Bones and Biscuits
Brainerd Bones and Biscuits sold me a dog with a genetic disorder. The puppy has terrible patellar luxation in both back legs. This was my first dog, so I didn't know exactly how the puppy should walk or how the legs should look, but ANY breeder with even the most minimal knowledge about their dogs would EASILY recognize this problem. Each leg costs over $2,500 to correct!!! The little dog's legs twist inward with each step. It can't walk on tile or wood floors because it is so unsteady from this disorder. I was mislead by the seller on numerous occasions. I kept all of my emails from my first inquiry about my dog until the last communication, so the evidence is all there. Side note: I have learned my lesson. Don't buy puppies from anyone but a rescue organization. Pet stores, online sources, and the newspaper all tend to be puppy millers who are purveyors of misery and greed. Before you buy a puppy that isn't a rescue, please Google "puppy mill" and read everything there. Spend an hour and do some research on puppy mills and you will never again buy a puppy that isn't recycled. They lie to you about the origin of their dogs. It's that simple. If you want a specific dog breed, Google "chihuahua rescue" (or whatever type of dog you are interested in) and find a recycled dog that needs a home. A small number of these dogs have some issues, but all of them deserve love. We now have several recycled pets and have been able to house train them with consistent praise when they do what's right. Do the right thing and give a recycled dog a chance. IF YOU MUST BUY A PUPPY, PLEASE GO TO A DOG SHOW AND GET A DOG FROM A BREEDER THAT SHOWS HIS OR HER DOGS. Be patient. You will often be put on a waiting list. This is a good sign that you aren't just buying from someone who overbreeds. You will probably pay a little more, but the veterinary bills will make up the difference when you buy a healthy dog, rather than a less expensive dog that all too often needs hundreds or thousands of dollars of medical bills.

Best breeder in Minnesota
I started my search for a Poodle puppy a year before I found Joanie, I talked to countless breeders and visited many of them, I also did my homework on how to find a good breeder. Joanie is the most informative breeder I ever came across and her puppies are the most socialized, healthy and up to the standard I have seen, (believe me I seen some Poodles in my search that were long bodied, thin straight coats, ect.
and certainly not up to the standard they are suppose to be) ALL her dogs and puppies greet you at the door when you come to visit, they are all well groomed and well taken care of and her home and puppy pens are super clean!!
I purchased a beautiful girl and will be back for a second puppy I would not consider going anywhere else to adopt a puppy, she is awesome to work with and her puppies are wonderful.....

I have purchased THREE puppies from this lady in the past 2 years and they have been the healthiest, most socialized and loving pups. She doesn't have very many breeding dogs though.
She has always been real nice, easy to reach to chat with and helpful. She is NOT a puppymill not a large breeder. A lot of the pups you see her advertising and on her website are bred and raised by other family members of hers in their own homes. She is just the main advertiser for the family!!!
Get your facts straight.
I recommend Joanie Hebert for your next HEALTHY, SOCIALIZED and WONDERFUL puppy ever!! 8) :)
5.05.05.05.05.0 Amazing caring breeder
If you are looking for a puppy you don't need to look no further, this is the most caring and informative breeder I have ever came across, Joanie and Dan are so sweet, honest and caring and the puppies are raised in the families home's (they are family run) and boy does it show in their personality's!, when I arrived all the dogs greeted me and were so friendly, the home is clean and so are the dogs, VERY impressed!! I had a long search for the right puppy and I just purchased my second puppy from this family and I could not be happier, I believe I will be back for one more to complete my family and I would never consider going any were else but rehbergerspuppyluv.com I have two beautiful HEALTHY Dog's from them, Zoey and Wilma are the best Dogs I could ask for everyone stops me to ask we're I got them and I tell them the best breeder in Minnesota Joanie Hebert!!
Uh If you go to the web site, there are a hoard of chihuahuas being bred there :? .
They are not very good looking chis either. Long noses...
That should tell you something about the quality of puppies, AND the breeder... :x
You are looking at a picture and making a decision to bash these people without even knowing anything about them or the dogs they breed, so sad that people will make a decision based on one person that there was no way to please........ FAMILY RUN, HOME RAISED, wonderful family that really loves all the dogs and puppies and they are all taken care of and happy, go look for yourself, don't believe hear say!! You won't find nicer people!!
Really ? This lady that made all these complaints is overboard, four complaints all without showing her name, looks fishy to me, you can tell it is all the same wacko lady, I think she was looking for a free dog!
I came upon this review today for Rehbergerspuppyluv.com and Joanie Hebert, I could not believe what I was reading, did not sound anything like the Joanie Hebert I know or the breeder from Rehbergerspuppyluv.com that I know, I purchased my first puppy from Joanie in 2007 and my second puppy from her in 2011, both very healthy, socialized puppies, I loved the first one so much (Tia) I bought a second one (Tillie) both my puppies were vet checked very healthy from my vet and Joanie's vet and still are very healthy at five and almost two years old, she was WONDERFUL to deal with nothing like what this person is saying in this review, I find it very hard to believe that she would not stand behind any dog that she breeds, I purchased my first puppy from a recommendation from a family that lives next door to me with a puppy purchased from her and they also love their dog and is very healthy, I was so impressed with the dogs temperament that I asked were they adopted him from. This person was offered a full refund and refused it and still wrote a bad review?
sounds like someone that could not be easily pleased to me, I think there is something wrong with someone that is offered a full refund and still writes a bad review, I believe Joanie did everything she could to make this person happy and it was just not possible, there are alway's people that no mattter how hard you try they will not be happy in this world that must be one of those people! There are tons of good reviews on puppyfind.com and the website, go read the ones's from all the happy people that adopted puppies!
You guys are all INSANE for the things you are saying! I purchased a puppy from them and he is the smartest little pup I have even met, not to mention completely HEALTHY!
I have also known the owners for years....specifically since 3rd grade and their dogs are part of their family!!! They are responsible breeders and go above and beyond what any other breeder would do!
And as far as the lady goes who got the sick puppy-why the heck would you make such a scene about a sick puppy and when they honored the health guarantee and YOU REFUSED IT? Get over yourself and maybe go get a life rather than sitting on the computer writing complaints.
Our business for breeding dogs has always been the same name (our family name), my brother owned a business called Brainerd Bones and Bisquits that was quite successfull and because of his health he sold the grooming and boarding building, it was part of the sell of the boarding and grooming and they wanted the name as part of the purchase of the business, if you bought McDonalds would you change the name?? We are family run, there is not just one of us raising dogs, I really don't think I should have to defend this ridiculous complaint or people coming up with more ***, YES, this is my only complaint we have EVER had, read all the good reviews and testimonials instead of focusing on this ONE that is not ligit, it's funny how people would rather think a bad compaint is ligit instead of reading hundreds of good ones, really sad......
It is difficult to believe that you have had only one complaint in 27 yrs of breeding and selling dogs.? If you have had such a successful dog breeding business, why the name change to your business?
Businesses that have a good reputation don't generally change their "good name" due to fact that this is how they are known in the business community. People or businesses that change their name are usually trying to hide from something or start over due to a bad reputation. Businesses will have problem situations arise from time to time.
How those problem situations are handled and ultimately resolved is the key to maintain their reputation. A smart business owner knows that their name means everything and will go the extra mile to maintain that good name (reputation).
