Bad Experience With A Bad Company

All around BAD experience with this company. Called for an a/c guy to come out to check my thermostat and coil. The guy came out & proceeded to tell me that the 30a breaker was bad. It was in fact NOT. The tech did not check the wiring with his tester, only "visually" looked at it & said "It looks like it is wired ok."

Did NOT check for what I was paying them to determine. The next day I called to talk to a Supervisor. Left a message (2 times) NO call back from their Office.

I called a 3rd time & told the Secretary that the problem was not found, I need a different tech out here to find what I originally paid for & that I am not paying again. This was about 5:30pm on a weekday. She says "I have someone in your area, he will be out there to find the problem when he leaves his current call.

This guy shows up & checks the outside unit & says he believes there is a leak & I need at least 3-4 lbs of R-22 refrigerant at $100 a pound!

He says he will check for a "leak" but that will be an additional $95.00 on TOP of the $149.00 he says I am being charged for an "after hours" call!

I was NEVER told this by the girl who answered my call originally. After he called his office, he told me this girl "assumed" I was on some "platinum monthly plan" where you pay like $20-30 a month for some type of insurance I guess??

I said well I am not paying $149 nor do I feel I should be paying you ANYTHING since I already paid a previous tech for something he didn't do properly. I didn't state this as an emergency nor was I ever told this was an extra charge.

He calls his office back again. He then tells me that I need to pay $98.00 instead that they are "waiving" the after hours fee. I asked for him to get a hold of the owner or his Supervisor & was told "it was too late, they all went home." I find this hard to believe this guy doesn't have the cell number of his boss handy.

Against my better judgment I paid the $78 ($20 off coupon) AGAIN & told the tech I wanted to speak to an owner. I also stated that I wanted to have a "comfort specialist" come out the following day to quote me on the coil replacement. he says he notated it all & that they would definitely be getting back to me the next day.

No one ever did.

I then call the company and got ahold of their "shop foreman" whom I told this whole story too.

He said he will talk to the techs & promised to get back with me the next day.

Surprise Surprise he never did..

At this point I figure give them time to sort this mess out.

8 days later I still have not heard back from anyone.

I call the company AGAIN & told the secretary I want to speak with Jason or Todd (the owners). I was placed on hold for 13 minutes before Todd finally picked up.

I tell him the whole story. He says he would look into it & call me back the following day.

He did not call me, he sends me an email stating that he stands by his employees & all but called me a liar & refuses to refund me my initial $78.

I emailed him back on how poor I feel he handled this situation as a company owner. Not only did they lose out on getting my business on doing the actual leak test & replacing the coil (which could've ran well over $1,000) but he lost my & my family's business.

Given what happened to me, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
