Lack of diversity

AI Highlights
  • - The commercials show a lack of diversity.
  • - Increase diversity in advertising so customers see themselves; otherwise they may bypass you.

Just watching your commercials it's evident that you lack diversity. Want more sales, become more diverse in your advertising so that potential customers see themselves at your dealership. They will bypass you if they don't feel welcome.

Premium extended Warranty does not cover all!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - A leak affected three areas due to a clogged sunroof drain.
  • - The bill was $500 for labor, including $100 for diagnosis.

When they tell you bumper to bumper don't believe them. I currently have my Ford Explorer in for a leake going into three different areas of my vehicle.

I was told its due to a clogged water drain that funnels water off of my sun roof. Because its not a "part" but instead needs to be cleaned out i have to pay a total of $500.00 for labor. $100.00 of that was to diagnose the problem. :(

What makes me so mad is, i just picked it up Friday haveing a bracket replaced.

Here it is Tuesday and its back at the shop again!! When you take it in for maintenance shouldn't this be something they should check??

That kind of problem is usually considered "normal wear and tear" or similar verbiage.

Bad Power Steering electronic module

AI Highlights
  • - Power steering can fail unexpectedly.
  • - Repair would replace the steering gear for $2,100; recall exists for some models; Ford will decline the claim.

Power steering goes out not warning. I am told it is a bad electronic module.

But they cant just change the module they have to change the entire steering gear for the sum of $2,100. WHAT! This is robbery. A recall for earlier models and some newer ones is out but my vehicle apparently did not get the faulty module.

I think the facts show that Ford is incorrect. They May be a very good company to some but when you have a problem, they do not care about their customers. Can you imagine $2,100? 6% of what I paid for it an 13% of what is is currently worth.

Filled a case with Ford, person said they are going to decline the claim even before the process to evaluate the claim is executed. Sad.

Loss:
$2100

Preferred solution: Ford replaces the defective part for free.
