Good afternoon, We were travelling to...

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Unloading area confusion with booking CP3.
  • - Must pay to exit and again when returning to CP3.
  • - The staff advised reclaim at the terminal.

Good afternoon, we were travelling to *** on 27/5/26. Having been at the airport in February and dragged our cases from the car at CP2, we were told we could unload in the area just inside 1/2; however, our booking was in CP3, so we unloaded, and I went to park at CP3 and found I had to pay to leave and then make my way to CP3.

I was not happy! Obviously, I had to pay to leave when returning to CP3.

On arriving at the terminal, I went to the desk and was told I had to reclaim once I had returned to ***. ******.

Loss:
$6
Pros:
  • Great for us
  • Easy and efficient
Cons:
  • Car park signage poor do not enter 1&2 areas to unload if in cp3

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Really pay attention to your ticket and which car park area you are allocated, drop off zone for car park 3 is in car park 3 otherwise you have to pay to get out am trying to get refund out of principal very poor info.

Website claims there is a shuttle bus to/from Bournemouth station.

AI Highlights
  • - The only bus between the station and airport runs twice daily around 6:30 am.
  • - The information could mislead travelers and leave them stranded.
Updated by user Aug 07, 2025

Make sure you check for yourself. There is no effective shuttle bus between Bournemouth Airport and the Railway station. They are misguiding their customers by insuisting otherwise.

Original review Jul 22, 2025

The only bus service between the station and air port runs only twice a day very early in the morning around 6:30.

It is wrong to mislead people in this way, possibly leaving them stranded with no onward connection.

I contacted their custom service people and was told the website is correct.

User's recommendation: Dont rely on a shuttle bus - it doesnt run while the airport is active.
