Awful "credit management" service if you can call it that

Updated by user Jun 11, 2019

After Boulder was contacted by Pissedconsumer.com and the Better Business Bureau, I finally got my copies and everything else I had been asking for over the past 2 years. I have a very nice lady handling my accounts now, her name is Joelle.

Mr. Mackay set her up as my point person, after addressing all of the problems that I had been having.

We are well on our way to being done with each other. Thank you Pissedconsumer.com and BBB for your help, without you I would still be losing my mind over the aggravation of having no communication.

I let a loan guy talk me into a credit management service and they've been nothing but a horrible pain in the butt since before I even signed the papers. First they showed up and all the papers were wrong. Then I had to meet with them at work which was embarrassing but at least the papers were correct that time. I asked for signed copies and was told they would be mailed. I have since requested them 5-6 more times and have received nothing. I have also requested many times that they only communicate via e-mail as I don't have phone access during the day/work week. And still, on the rare occasion that they do communicate, they call and leave a message and by the time I am able to call back they're either closed or I have to sit on hold until they're closed at which point their phone system hangs up on me. There's not even an option to leave a message. I have sent many e-mails to the only contact address I have ever been given and I get an automatic reply stating they have received my e-mail and it would be reviewed and I never get a resolution or an acknowledgement or anything. These guys take money out of my account every month religiously and I have absolutely no clue what they are doing with it anymore. The worst part though, is that they keep sending letters to companies and suspending accounts that they were never authorized to work with, causing a ton of embarrassment when I'm buying something and my card is declined and I have no idea why because no one ever TOLD me anything about anything. I call them and wait forever to talk to a person and use my whole lunch break and more for this call and it takes them like 5 days to fix it and then a few months later, same thing all over again. They have no clue what they're doing. This company is horrible to deal with and if you're thinking of trying the credit management solution, I would say run the other way but if you're thinking of using this company for anything ever save yourself the trouble and call your own credit card companies and apply for hardship programs. This whole thing has been nothing but a headache and my credit is still in the tank because this company just sucks beyond belief. I'm sorry for the language, that was the only word I could think of that got the point across. Thank you for the time you took to read this, please don't use this company, I promise you that they will make you regret it if you do.
