Boston Store Return Policy

In December 2016, the Boston Store had phenomenal sales. Most families are overextended during the holidays. Receipts are lost. Unfortunately, I was one of the consumers that lost my Boston Store receipt. I have never seen anything like this return policy. All I wanted to do was to find out how much the Boston Store had charged for the item and receive the correct amount of credit. Can you believe that I was told because of a "privacy policy" NO ONE could retrieve this information! I supplied the store with the bank information and they still continues to make things everything difficult. The entire process has wasted my time and energy. this incident has made me feel hopeless. If you shop at the Boston Store, guard your receipt with your life!

I revived a coat as a gift the coat fit perfectly but I notice wit a sweater on it was a little tight I just took the tags off and had the in my pocket go into Boston Store downtown Milwaukee ( Grand Avenue Mall) just before my train left to see if the coat came one size bigger I found the exact same coat asked if I was able to exchange the coat and was treated so bad...I was told that they was not able to exchange the coat, I asked for a store manager and this department manager came and was talking very rude.. then tells me first she did not know where the store manager was then she said she was on an hour phone call I told her I would wait she said that I was wasting my time.. the store manager came out and apologized for the way the associates acted I said I thought she was the assistant manger she informed me she was not at all.. I then advised her how I was profiled and I would never shop here again

Received not working produce, horrible customer service representative.

I placed an online order on bostonstore.com which is owned by Bonton. I ordered an automatic Kenneth Cole watch for my boyfriends upcoming college graduation/Christmas present. The process of using the website and receiving the product was fine. However, upon opening the package I decided to go ahead and set the watch to it's correct time. As anyone who knows a thing about automatic watches knows they need to be wound 20 or 30 so times in order to kickstart the watch into working (automatic watches do no run on batteries, but rather on your daily movement). After winding the watch I moved to set the time, I pulled the watches stem and tried to wind the time but the hands would not move. The watch is a skeleton watch so I can see inside and see that the watch is not moving correctly. The first thing I did was call customer service and try to set up a return and refund. I tell the customer service rep I have a defective watch, she asks for my order number, pulls up the receipt, and the first thing she says is, "Oh I see here that you ordered an automatic watch, I'm not sure if you know how to use an automatic watch but you actually need to wind it about 20 times before it will work. If you try that it should fix your issue." The first thing this woman does is assume I don't know how to use a product I ordered, she didn't even ask what the issue I was having was. For all she could have known the watch's face could have been shattered!! She was extremely rude and condescending. I politely explained to her I knew how an automatic watch worked and she then attempted to assist me. She provided me with a pre-paid return label but then told me it could take up to a month to receive my refund on this defective product. A month??? It takes approximately one week to ship from where I live to the location of the warehouse. What on earth happens at that warehouse where it takes an additional 3 weeks to process and refund a customer? I will not be ordering from this company again and I'll be buying my replacement watch elsewhere. I don't recommend this company to anyone.
