Fear and Frustration

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I kept telling my provider(s) that something was wrong. I sought their assistance and guidance with diagnosing and treating my issue but they kept telling me I was normal.

They would play guessing games. They did not do all that they could do to help me. They blamed my anxiety. I went untreated with an infection for over a year because they failed to do appropriate testing.

They failed to treat me properly so my infection was recurrent. It was pure carelessness and gaslighting in Adult primary care. Some reps are nice others are rude, ignorant, and uncaring. The whole department needs to be swept and sanitized of its careless, lazy and toxic staff.

If you don't advocate for yourself (which they don't like) they will happily let you die! Doctors and surgeons conspire together to help the bureaucracy not you. There's money in medication and money for research and if they can make you their guinea pig, they will conspire to do that. If they can play you like a fiddle based on mental health issues they will create a choir based on that.

It's shameful how selective they are or have become with whose care they are attentive to. Women of color are at the bottom of their list.

Horrible Customer Service

Whenever you call any service number, the staff always end up forwarding you to a different department. Then that department will not be able to solve the problem and forward you to a different department AGAIN.

This cycle repeats endlessly until someone inevitably tells you that they can't fix the issue period. The customer service at boston medical is TRASH!

Called billing 4 days, on hold 20min recorded message .No call back. Call patient advocate, Karen-NoHelp.

When stated BMC should be ashamed of themselves for this customer service, she got defensive and gave me bogus Customer service # and hung up. Total incompetence in administration.

You are a $ to this hospital and nothing else. Better hope you don't need assistance other than medical

Patient is DIABETIC; had a surgery procedure in the morning; went to his room for recovery. Around 2:40PM until 3:00 PM he has been trying to get attention of a nurse or someone to give him water and something to eat at no avail.

The patient is on the 5th floor room 6. (August 28, 2020)

Cancelled appointment at the Solomon Center, 3rd Floor, Moakley Building.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I went to my appointment at Boston Medical Center on September 28, 2018 at 9:30 am to the Solomon Cancer Center in the Moakley Building for a scheduled appointment at 10:00 am with NP, Yves Martine dumas. I told the receptionist that I had an appointment for 10:00 am with NP Yves Martine dumas.

On this date, September 28, 2018 he told me that my appointment was cancelled by the Manager 4 days ago. I told him that I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL NOR MESSAGE CANCELLING MY APPOINTMENT. I asked him if there was anyone in this clinic that I could see for a short follow-up. I also told him that I will have to pay $13.00 for valet parking.

I then spoke with a female receptionist in this clinic. I also told her that I never got a phone call or message cancelling my appointment and asked her also if there was anyone in this clinic that I could see for a short follow-up and she said that she would look into it. She gave me a pad of paper and pen to write down my name (Janet Geisel) and date of birth (8/23/41) and she would check on this for me. I did what I was told to do and she told me to have a seat.

I waited approximately 45 minutes till the first receptionist (male) approached me. According to him he spoke with a doctor and he told me that they can't see me and asked if I would like to re-schedule an appointment. I told him "NO" and left the clinic.

This is unacceptable customer service. Somebody in that department should have either called me on the phone or sent me a message to notify me that my appointment had been cancelled.

The Manager that cancelled my appointment should be reprimanded for not notifying me. I am a 77 year old woman and made a trip to BMC specifically to keep my appointment.

I went to my appointment at Boston Medical Center on September 28, 2018 @ 9:35am located on the 3rd floor, Solomon Cancer Center in the Moakley Buliding for an appointment that I was scheduled for with NP, Yves Martine dumas. I told the receptionist that I had an appointment for 10:00am with NP Yves Martine dumas.

On this date, September 28, 2018 he told me that my appointment was cancelled by the Manager 4 days ago. I told him that I NEVER RECEIVED A MESSAGE NOR PHONE CALL STATING THAT MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED. I also told him that I had parked my car in the Valet section of the hospital at a cost of $13.00 to me. I asked him if someone could possibly see me for a quick follow up.

He told me to talk with another receptionist in this clinic. I spoke with a female receptionist and she confirmed that my appointment was cancelled. I told her also that I never got a phone call or message stating that my appointment had been cancelled. Again, I asked her if there was someone there that I could see.

She told me to write down my name Janet Geisel date of birth 8/23/1941 and maybe they can get someone to see me. I did as I was told, gave her the necessary information and she told me to have a seat. I waited approximately 45 minutes till the first receptionist (male) approached me. According to him he spoke with a doctor and he told me that they can't see me.

He then asked me if I wanted to re-schedule my appointment and I told him "NO" and left the clinic.

Boston Medical Center Customer Care Review from Kittanning, Pennsylvania

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I had an issue with security at Boston medical center approaching me with 4 officers to ask me to unplug my phone. The main women was the rudest basically bullying me telling me to unplug my phone and get out.

I see 4 different doctors at BMC and wanted to grab a coffee from Dunkin donuts but even with this knowledge she told me to go to the emergency room or get out. Probably the most horrible experience I have ever had to deal with from basically the hospital I go to for everything even the pharmacy. She actually told me I was bi polor cause I told her I wanted to go to the er then. I have a bad leg can't walk well just stopped by for a coffee and to charge my phone and check on Meds and now she decides to tell me I have a no trespassing there as well.

Because I stood up for myself while u were treating me like a homeless crazy woman when she couldn't be more wrong. I'm sick of getting profiled and told I am not allowed to do something that everyone does.

They just decided to profile me and change the rules to kick me out. I will report this and am gonna call my insurance and ask them to switch me to new doctors all because of a *** security guard who made a felony case about using an outlet to charge me phone

I did not take delivery of the product. My cardiologist said that this would affect my heart.

Original review Jan 02, 2013

Please, Please save your $1,000. These Drs.

don,t care. I had a bad reaction to the injection to the point that I was ready to go to the hospital. I called them the next morning and told them and said "Do NOT send the serum, I can NOT use it" They replied well this is a final sale and you have to take it. It is all about the money.

Go see a Urologist for your problem --- he can be trusted.

Stay away from this place. If you want real medical care for your impotence then stay away from this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patient Pain/Complication(Boston Medical Center)

Patient Last Name: Marshall.

I was seen at Boston Medical Center for a liver biopsy. I was told nothing would go wrong when going through this, I was in so much pain. No doctor seemed worried about what was going on with me.

I was screaming so loud, the only thing that was said to me was that they need the room for another patient. At this time they did nothing, I was put in an open room off the surgical room where everyone that would go by could see me.

The pain went to my shoulder. At first nothing was done even thought I was screaming and could not breath. At this time Doctor Kuligowska told me that the procedure was successful, she over-looked the fact I was in so much pain.

The nurses did not know what to do for me. I was told that I was the first patient to go though this much pain. I kept telling them I could not breath during this time and nothing was done for me, I continued to have breathing problems. No medication would help, I was told they had hit a nerve.
