Bossier Federal Credit Union Reviews

Wednesday, June 19, 2018, I called to talk to someone about possibly setting up a checking and savings account with Bossier Federal Credit Union. The lady told me that B.F.C.U.

IS a CO-OP branch sharing credit union network. I stopped at the downtown location in which the teller told me that their branch does not participate in the network. The teller told me to go to the branch at North gate, Barksdale AFB by following my GPS on my phone. I followed her instructions in which I followed her instructions to the letter.

My GPS directed me to Barksdale AFB. Upon arrival at the gate, I told them I was sent from a teller to go to this particular branch, in which I could not enter as the credit union was on the base. I was angry! 45 minutes of wasted time, I hastily drove from Shreveport, to Ruston, Louisiana to barley make it in time to deposit my check to transfer funds Ouachita Federal Credit Union, located in Monroe, Louisiana.

During my commute, I called three times in each instance, someone on the phone hung up on me. By my fourth call, I was successful in reaching someone to inform them about my experience, and shared with them, that they lost a potential customer for good after my experience. I started my phone call after leaving the base.

By the time someone finally decided to answer the phone, I was in Minden, Louisiana, approximately a good 25 minutes from Bossier City. It took that long, to make contact with someone to share my poor customer service prior to three times being hung up on by an operator who clearly did not care about their job, or credit union they work for, as I will never go back to this credit union again.
