They are the worst company in the world

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In my opinion, they are the most incompetent company Ive ever dealt with. All they care about is stealing money from the owner and the tenants.

Stay away from this company.

In 30 years of managing properties, Ive never had two empty properties, but thanks for them I do and they have excuses for everything. For me to say this, it must be very, very bad.

Terrible property. management

DO NOT rent from Bosshardt. They are the worst company I have ever had to encounter.

Their management is extremely rude. I rented a house from them for 13 months. When I moved in there was broken glass and workman debris scattered throughout the yard. There were cobwebs, dirt, and dust throughout the house.

(I moved in at the start of Covid, so there was no actual final walk through). I called Bosshardt the day after I moved in about this and I was told, Its Florida, the lease states you are in charge of pest control. In the first month of my living there, the house flooded. They were supposed to put in a drain; however, they just extended the gutters so the water would pull away from the house.

My brand-new mattress was ruined. The kitchen duct leaked all over a painting. Nothing was replaced. Upon my moveout, they tried to tell me I had left the door open..

ha! There was no internet access (the old one was left in the backyard), when I called them about it, they told me I should have noticed that and required me to pay and have Cox come install a coax outlet. The neighbors were putting in a pool, they needed to remove some trees from within my fence line. I came home to random people, in my backyard cutting down trees and destroying the fence.

Bosshardt never informed me this was happening and never responded to my emails regarding this.

I terminated my lease early and paid a total of $2,805 in charges. I found new tenants for the property who signed a new lease, paid Bosshardt a $3,000 deposit, and moved in. I knew Bosshardt was bad, but I had NO idea they could be like this. I feel so terrible for the tenants I found.

Had I known, I would not have knowingly put someone in a contract with a company as terrible as Bosshardt.

Prior to my move out, I had the property professionally cleaned, filled nail holes and painted where necessary, the lawn landscaped, and left the property in FAR BETTER condition than when I moved in. I did not abandon my lease; I did not destroy property and I always paid on time.

I did not hear ANYTHING from Bosshardt after paying a total of $2,805, forfeiting my deposit of $1095, and returning my keys but received a certified letter 1 month later stating I owe $620.56 in additional charges. (They even charged me for the certified letter).

Every encounter I have had with Bosshardt Property Management, in particular their manager, Glennette has been horrendous at best.

PLEASE stay away from this company. They do not care about the renters, they are greedy, and they have no shame in taking your money.

I was warned that Bosshardt was one of the worst management companies in the area, but I really liked the house and figured it was worth it.

Now Im eating my words. There are so many other options available in Gainesville, that will save you the trouble, money, and headache of dealing with this property management company.
