I had a contact lense examination on January 27, 2024 at your Albany New York Boscov's Optical location. The fee was $125.00 and was paid on that day.
I was assured that Boscovs would provide me with a pair of contacts for trial, free of charge.
The doctor and support staff confirmed that my specifications for these contacts were available through Boscov's Optical, and would arrive within a few days.
To date, I have not received the contact lenses. Customer service has done whatever follow-up is required and told me that I will be contacted when the lenses arrive at the Albany location.
I have contacted customer service several times, and believe they are doing as much as they can to resolve this.
Since Boscov's Optical cannot provide the sample lenses, I am requesting the $125.00 exam fee returned to me, as the service has not been completed, and I have no other option but to find an Optical office that would be successful in getting the trial lenses.
