Bad customer service, they dont know what they doing

Bosch Car Services Toll Gate Road. glenwood zenex service centre On the 16th of October I took my vehicle to Bosch Car Service centre on Toll Gate Road Durban. I just needed them to change my rear brakes and fit in new brake pads and discs. Later that day I collected my car, fast forward about a month later my brakes started binding and basically started smoking and locking up this was on the 13th of November I contacted them they asked me to bring the vehicle in and theyll have a look at it. Upon arrival on the 16th I was helped by an employee of theirs Lwazi Ncaciso if Im correct. He told me not to stress theyll fix this, he let it slip that this sort of thing happens. A few moments later, a mechanic looks at the brakes and says to me oh this is due to the weather. When it rains this thing happens laughable theory especially since it hadnt been raining and to show them that this is a really bad thing, I put the vehicle in Drive (D) let go of the handbrake and the vehicle didnt move. I put it in Neutral and it still did not move. Might I add I got out of the car to show them what I was talking about. I left the car that day at about 7:30am and they had it for the whole day I get told in the afternoon that they changed the brake pads and its still binding. Might I add that I had to call them at 3pm to actually find out what is happening because they kept quiet the whole day. I explained to them that it would be best for them to actually outsource if their guys do not know exactly what is causing this. On the 18thof November I give them a call they tell me that they are going to look at the whole braking system and theyll take it from there. Again I stress to them that its fine if they dont know everything but in order to rectify this they need to ask people who deal/specialize in brakes. All this time I have been taking to Cindy (sp could be wrong). To me it seems like they completely ignored my advice and thought they knew best and carried on. They first had a theory that it was the brake pads, the second theory was the brake caliper which they said had seized on the left hand side which was news to me especially because the problem was on both sides. They took it out and sent it to go get repaired but when the part came back and was fitted the vehicle had the exact same problem. On the 20th I gave them a call again to check the process on the car they said they took out the master cylinder and sent it to get repaired and that my car will be ready in the afternoon. They replaced the master cylinder and I was told by a mechanic that the master cylinder was new. Fast forward to 2/3pm I collect the car and immediately I have a problem with the brake pedal, it seemed to have a lot of air. I asked them to rebleed the car and they do that. All seems to be fine, I drove about 4.7km to fuel up the car on Florida Road at the shell. And guess what ? My car started binding AGAIN ! Drove the car back to them and asked them to fix it. I told them that I had contacted someone from Lexus who told me that the problem could not have been the master cylinder as if it was that, the car would not be braking at all. All of this was communicated to Cindy who to my knowledge would relay the information to George who is the owner of that particular service centre. That Monday 23rd of November, I was called in the morning and told to collect my car as it was ready and all fixed. Myself &;;; my father went to go pick up the vehicle. To my surprise as well we were met with attitude as if we were the ones in the wrong. We explained to George that should we experience any problem we will contact them. On the 11th of December, the handbrake light brought up a fault. The handbrake switch and system as a whole is located where they were stripping and replacing. I gave them a call on the 14th in the morning to inform them about this and I asked to speak to Cindy once again since she knows about the car. Only to be met with the following words George said he will not be entertaining anything further to do with your car. He has stressed this before that when it comes to your braking system he will not be doing anything further. it is rather unfortunate that they use these words after breaking things and not being able to fix them properly. Now what they are basically implying is that whatever has to be fixed must be done from my own expense. The treatment that I have received from them is totally appalling ! I would think that Bosch being such a market leader in the industry they would ensure that the people who handle their franchises handle them with the outmost of respect ! The fact that they treat customers vehicles as learning tools is disgusting ! The fact that they have employees who tell you as a customer that they have nothing to say to you ? Is absolutely unacceptable ! I have never received such poor service and workmanship ! You would think that the leadership of an organization would be better but when you realize that they themselves are just as bad if not worse !? I strongly urge everyone reading this to not even think about using Bosch Car Service. They do not know what they are doing and they will break your vehicle ! What they have done and how they have treated me as a customer is disgusting ! And I will be doing everything in my power to escalate this matter ! It will not end here on Hello Peter but I will be forwarding this written complaint to the Motor Industry Ombudsman. They should not have their RMI license ! Theft at a Bosch Car Service

Took my car in for a service this morning and left my iPhone in the car and within 10 minutes of being there, my iPhone had been stolen by obviously a Bosch employee as he was the only one who was near or in my car since I got out. NOTHING has been done since. I spoke to all the staff and management whilst at the branch only to receive blank stares and "I don't know's". I have sent Bosch an email directly, complained at the branch and NOTHING. This is the worst customer service I have ever received let alone the fact that they have literally stolen from me!!!! I am so disgusted. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO GLENWOOD, ZENEX branch in DURBAN and if you do, make sure you leave no possessions in the car as they will be taken so quickly you won't even know it. They even have security camera's but didn't bother pulling the footage.
