They are sending a repair kit, I accidentally chipped the surface of the tub while painting my ceiling after installing unit. This company is the best. Highly recommend for their quality and service.

- - I replaced the tub with a black porcelain shower pan.
- - After four showers, color/texture washed away and Bootz won't proceed without more pics.
I also wrote BBB and they tried to get Bootz to honor their warranty but unsuccessful so I'm going another route and trying to inform anyone and everyone of what happened to me
I purchased a black porcelain shower pan. Changed out a bathtub for this walk in shower in preparation for my deteriorating health.
During my fourth shower I noticed some of the color and texture seemed to have washed away.
I corresponded with Leann at Bootz and was told my pictures were not good enough and showed them nothing and they would not move forward without more pics. I explained my camera broke and I was dealing with lymphoma and couldn't send more pics.
I asked for a rep to be sent out and was told No. My pics very clearly show the issue so I'm not sure what is going on
Preferred solution: I would like what I paid for

I am a contractor and purchased a Bootz Aloha Tub at Home Depot. We installed it, the customer was satisfied.
Less than one week later, our customers called and they have about 5 small imperfections in the tub that are now rusty.
We now have to pay ourselves to remove and replace the tub and surround. Bootz Industries refuses to take responsibility and offered to send a repair kit because the damage is not covered.
Preferred solution: I would like a new tub, surround and cost of labor as they will all need replaced

Chip on tub

- - Bottom walls are angled, causing shadows and an unsafe feel.
- - The top sticks out about 6 inches, making the space disorienting.
The design is terrible! The bottom half of the wall under the niche angles down &;; inward starting at the bottom of the niche all the way to the tub.
It's very noticeable & makes shadows with the lights on. When you sit to take a bath it feels like the top part of the wall is going to fall on you because the top sticks out a good 6 inches over the bottom :( It's almost disorienting moving in the shower or tub. Walls are supposed to be flat. Even with a niche or any type of shelf.
This is a unsafe & terrible design. I read reviews, watched videos & talked with the people at Home Depot several times before we purchased. Not 1 time did anyone, instructions on installation, guides or help say anything about the bottom half being installed properly with an angle!!! I would have found something else that didn't have angled walls!!
I can't wait to yank it out & spend more money to get the look Bootz promised with anything else before I get to dizzy & dent the already dented tub they sent as well! If you expect flat flush walls like an updated bathroom should be don't buy this one.

- - Installing a Bootz shower pan; can't find a drain that sits level.
- - Limited space between base/subfloor and plumbing; drains sit high.
Trying to install a Bootz shower pan. Can't find the appropriate shower drain to sit level in the opening.
We don't have a lot of space between the base/subfloor and the plumbing below. Most drains sit up too high.
Any suggestions?

Defective product
- - Bootz bathtub bought from Home Depot in Garland, TX 3 years ago.
- - There is a hole above the drain; contractor suspects fault and seeks resolution.
I bought a bootz bathtub from Home Depot in Garland Texas three years ago had it installed by contractor it now has *** just above the drain. I contacted my contractor, and he asked me a series of questions IE is your faucet leaking, have you dropped something on that area ect ect.
He then came to the conclusion that maybe it was a faulty product. I'm not one to speculate I don't know. So I'm contacting you guys to maybe resolve this problem.
