Bootcamp.com charges service fees per night!!
My son is graduating from basic training in June so I went online to book a hotel room for our visit. This site charges a hidden "service fee" for each night booked. I called to cancel the reservation and get my money back. The 1st rep I spoke with told me that he could cancel the reservation that I booked online, refund that fee and book a new reservation waiving the service fee. When 2 "service" fees hit my checking account I called them back. The 2nd rep barely spoke English, he read a tired script to me and told me that both fees would stand. I asked for a supervisor only to be told that a supervisor was unavailable and to call back in an hour. These people are scamming the friends and family of service men and women out of their money by using "bootcamp"as a marketing tool. If the "service fee" was being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project or something I could understand, but its just lining some ***'s pocket.
