I was also screwed over by Boom International Holdings. I purchased a 49 cc scooter from them through New Egg. I waa promised a certificate of orgin with the scooter and never received it. I tried contacting both New Egg and Boom International but neither would help me. I can not legally drive the scooter without the certificate because it has to be registered and without the certificate I was told I can not register it. So I'm out 700.00 for the scooter and a extra 150.00 because I had to pay a company to put it together. I bought this for my son's 18th birthday instead of a car thinking it would be cheaper to maintain. But now my sin has nothing because if he drives it and gets caught he will get a ticket and or go to jail. I am now going to file a claim in small claims court because I'm out 850.00 and can't afford to buymy son anything else for his birthday.

we were ripped off. bought upgraded motor cant connect it.

they refuse to send schismatic or the title. cant find anyone to help us

No customer service once product is bought

Purchased almost $10k in scooters from Boom Motors - which is JIangsu Biaodiao. 25% of them didn't start at all. Over the course of just 2 years, numerous parts broke; including throttle cables, throttles, fuel lines, etc. One scooter in particular was burning the plastic underneath the front tire because the triple tree was not straight. Attempted to contact the company regarding these issues, and provided no help except to order the new parts from them. Their prices, when compared to other online retailers, were extremely more expensive. The were quoting shipping rates double what is typical. The major issue is that secondary market parts don't fit these scooters properly; so they force you to pay very high prices for their parts. The manager and the parts department hang up on you when attempting to question why their prices are so much higher. I sent a shipping label for a triple tree, because their shipping quote was more than double the cost of my label, and they never shipped the part. It's been over a week and they refuse to answer my calls any longer. So I'm stuck with parts that don't fit, and a scooter that just burns up the plastic because of a faulty triple tree. This company truly is the epitome of a mass production product that emphasizes on selling a poor quality product with the allure of a cheaper price; coupled with absolutely zero customer service. I will never work with this company again, and hope to save any one from future headaches with a company that does not care once you make your purchase.
