Bookit.com is a scam. They pretend to offer sales, but if you need to chànge or hàve any additional questions, they pretend to hàve gotten disconnected and never call u back.They quickly answer the phone when you want to book, but anything other than that, you will have atleast a 2 hr wait. I am so pissed off, i can't hardly breath. Lesson learned. To good to be true

I received a fax at work gor a prepaid vacation. They never had Hawaii available so I waited six months then they told me I would have to pay extra to extend the date . Finally when Hawaii was avail there was an upgrade fee and a booking fee and hotel taxes. Turned out Orbitz or expedia has better rates. This Company is an agency inflating prices middle man. Total fraud

Bookit: SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY

As cliche as that sounds - I wish there were negative stars to give. I bought transportation from airport to hotel vouchers for my mom and me: both to and from the airport. Bookit only sent two instead of four vouchers to be used. When I called I was on the phone for about 40 min, listening to their advertisements-filled hold music. Finally they admitted they made a mistake and told me to buy the transport vouchers myself as I get to the airport and they'll refund my money. Ok so that's what I did: instead of getting my $45 refunded, I was charged $58 (WHAT ON EARTH!) .so I had to take the time out of my vacation at the beach and spend another 45 mins on the phone trying to beat MY money out of them. She wanted my credit card again, UH HUH - as if! I told her to use the info she already had to scam me for $58 and use it to give it right back. So finally they did refund it (I should have known something was up when I received two emails from Bookit saying my credit card processing failed - when I didn't even TRY to use it in the first place). Anyways so they were supposed to fax new transport. vouchers to my hotel and, surely, that wouldn't have happened if i didn't take out ANOTHER 30 min out of my Miami vacation at the beach to call them again. THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I USED Bookit. And my heart goes out to all of you who HAVE used it, or who will ignore many of these negative reviews and WILL use it.

Bookit.com made reservations landing after check in ended.

Bookit.com made reservations for my plane landing at 10:15PM and my lodging check in time was only open until 7:00PM. I spent over a week and a half trying to fix this, what it came down to is they changed my flight to an early AM flight but then charged me $85 per person (4 kids and 2 adults) I tried to have them reimburse me for the difference since it was their fault in the first place. They told me that they can't do that since all of the dates and times were explained in the itinerary. The same itinerary that I didn't get emailed to me until I paid already. I ask this, what kind of company sends a family on vacation with no place to stay for the first night they are there? Bookit.com thats who!

My husband and I have been looking at several unhappy customer reports over the internet. We check out all companies before we use them.

The above response from them is the same response given to each. Bottomline of what we found is 1) don't use them; and 2) if you already have and have had an issue, post it all over the internet. They will find it and finally reimburse you! If you keep quiet and don't fight it, you lose!

They may well be betting on those who won't push the issue.

Wonder why the Attorney General has not stepped in? Maybe someone needs to bring it to his attention.

Are you going to assist me or was the comment left so that it LOOKS like you are concerned with your image that the public sees, or are you truly going to provide customer satisfaction?

And what do you know, they still have not contacted me. See they don't want to help resolve any matter.... they just don't want to seem like the bad guy that costs people extra money because they messed up. They can't take responsibility for what they do wrong and make it right with the customer. They just posted here so that anyone looking at this site will think that they are trying to be reasonable.

I can't stress enough NOT to use bookit.com unless you want lots of headaches and to loose extra money.
