Terrible customer service - stay away from Bookit.com
Here's the letter I just sent to these guys. I suggest that you STAY AWAY from Bookit.com. They should call themselves "Tookit.com" I have just had a terrible time with your customer service group and will be posting as such to all of my social feeds and all of the review sites I know of. I unfortunately had to cancel a pre-paid hotel reservation of over $1,700 due to family sickness. Because I was within the cancellation window, I asked Bookit and the hotel for an exception and to refund as much of my fee as possible. The hotel was willing to re-book over $1,000 of the $1,200 that they received for the 5-night stay and I am in their debt; I will be visiting the area again soon and will definitely stay there. Bookit.com, on the other hand, chose to keep ALL of the nearly $500 in fees that they made as part of the reservation. I spent hours on the phone listening to hold music, and was told multiple times that "someone" would be calling me to help me out, with no return call. I was just told that your company will NOT be refunding me a dime. Not only that, I was somehow lectured about how this transaction is like hiring my brother to sell my bike. (No, I did not understand it either). The person on the phone even disputed the $$ breakdown, despite my having a copy of the invoice from the hotel to Bookit.com showing that your site kept nearly 30% of the entire fee I paid. You had one chance to make me a customer for life, and you missed it. I now have multiple chances to post the true facts of my experience with Bookit.com on as many review sites as I can.

Bookit in Atlanta, Georgia - Round-trip transfers from airport
Sure enough, they were there when we got off the plane, holding up a sign that says 'Book It' - they asked for our voucher which we printed from our booking email. There was only 1 voucher and they kept it. When it was time to go back to the airport we had NO documentation or a phone number to call for a pick up. The hotel said to call a cab and tell the cab driver that a 'Book It' representative would reconcile with him once we reached the airport. But no rep in site. Cab driver wanted payment of course so we paid for our round trip transfer TWICE basically. No instructions at all for our transfer back to the airport!!
BOOKIT DO NOT USE THEM EVER
I will never use bookit again. Why I listened to someone else and tried it is beyond me. For years I have used Expedia and I will use them from now on. Bookit lied about flights booked it with flights and dates i really didnt want. Then when other family memebers went to book 10 mins later the dates and flights were available on line. Mind you I called and spoke to a representative personally. When I called to change it to the correct flight that evryone else was on and showed them it was available they said $1200 and they could change the 7 plane tickets. I went back and forth for 2 days finally spoke to customer service she was the most rude and arrogant person. I work for UPS and customer serice should never be like this. They lost my whole family as customers and whoever I come across and UPS from now on!!
