Bookit in Memphis, Tennessee - "Lost" My Refund

I booked a reservation in Feb for 3 rooms in N.O. For May. At the end off April I cacelled 1 of the rooms and immediately received a credit to my AE. The same evening I went on line and canceled the other 2 rooms. When I didn't receive the refund I called to check on it on it. I was told by that the refund was in process, however, my on-line itinerary showed it hadn't been credited. So a couple of days later called again - same answer - couple days later called again - same answer. I went to their FB page and sent a message and finally got an answer. Turns out I was right! There was a "glitch" with my refund and it was never processed. Now, they're telling me it was sent to AE but AE still doesn't show they've received it. HORRIBLE CS. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!

Bookit - No price guarantee honored

They do not honor their price guarantee, even if you ever do get thru to them on the phone. worst travel service I have never dealt with! called in thee separate times within the 24 hour time limit for price guarantee and after 10 minutes each time was transferred to another dept.that never did answer even after 20 minutes.sent them emails also which were not answered for a couple days,then they claimed bit was too late. Also, they claimed the room was not the same on the hotel site for the same dates etc. The room was an exact match. Book it. Com really cheats badly! W.Reynoldssy

Bookit in Columbus, Ohio - Very poor customer service

Tried to reach someone for the last 3 days for a trip that I am supposed to go on in 2 days and have had no luck. Been on hold for more than hour before I keep giving up and still no luck. Never received an itinerary so I have no information. Asked to speak to a supervisor and placed on hold an additional 45 minutes before I decided to hang up once again. This is *** poor customer service and needs to be fixed. When you provide a service and take someone's hard earned money, you should at least be able to have the assistance made available to you when issues like this happen.

Bookit in New York, New York - Terrible Customer Service/DO NOT USE

First off, my original reservation was screwed up from the confirmation page. I selected and paid for a King Superior room, and when brought to the confirmation page, it said Queen Standard room (which was over $50 less in price). I called to have this sorted out, and waited on the phone for over an hour, to have the company call me back after midnight EST when my trip was the following morning. Supposedely everything was settled, but upon arrival at the hotel, our reservation was unable to be found. After more waiting, the hotel was gracious and said they deal with this problem with Bookit.com all the time. VERY unrelaible, did not get what I paid for in the end, and will be reporting to the BBB. Don't waste your time or money.

Bookit - Book It - Purposefully Misleads

I was going through the booking process and was quoted a hotel rate per person, and NEVER got a quote for a different price. I checked their price policy and it states that the price quoted on teh website includes all taxes and other fees. So, I proceeded and as soon as I entered my credit card information, it confirmed my NON-refundable reservation and showed a price with $30 in taxes and an extra $50 per person charge! Unbelievable. So I called Book-it to try to cancel or ask why I was paying for 4 people, then being charged for extra people too, and they basically called me a liar. This website it terrible and will rip you off. The prices may look low at first, but you will get some outrageous fees tacked on and no opportunity to reveiw the total cost. NEVER USE BOOK-IT!

Went on line to find a hotel and came across Bookit.com so went threw the site and book a room in Houston when I got into town I called to tell them I would be late only to find out they had no reservation for me and also no rooms available since it was late I tried to call around all hotels were booked there was a rodeo in town so I had to dive 2.5 hours out of town before finding a room for the night!!,, bookit will take your reservation send you a confirmation number and even take your money but they won't make sure you have a room booked they suck total rip off and waste of time do your self a favor call the hotel your self and make the reservation don't trust this site".......thieves and liars

Bookit only refunded a portion of a fully refundable itinerary

I booked a trip with Bookit via their site around January 27th, 2013. Itinerary paid in full at time of booking included 3900.00 for hotel and approximately 600.00 of ground activities. Cancelled full itinerary by calling in on 1/28. Received a refund for "Hotel portion only" on 2/1. Second contact. Sent message to bookit first week of April requesting remaining refund for ground activities. No response. No refund. Third contact. Called bookit and was told they would take care of refunding ground activities. Never happened. Fourth contact. 3rd week of February. Called Bookit again. Was told that all ground activity refunds must be processed manually and this process had NOT been started for my itinerary. Finally received remainder of refund on 2/20. Stay away. This company is so disorganized they cannot even handle a refund correctly.

Don't believe anything shown on Bookit.com! It is a scam! I booked a hotel through them in January 2013. I paid full amount of cost and got a confirm email which clearly listed my rate per night per room. HOWEVER, I got a phone call 1 day before free cancellation date and they told me I need to pay double rate in order to keep my reservation. I refused to pay double fees, then they told me they have to cancel my reservation. I asked why they don't honor their booking (with confirmation email), they said my booking was a computer error and they have the right to charge me whatever price they give me now, otherwise, they will cancel my reservation. What the *** is that?! That’s cheating! They just fool you to book with them and then hit you with double price (maybe triple if they like) at last minutes! They even tried to charge me higher price than hotel website! What a joke! Don't believe anything shown on Bookit.com like I said at beginning.

My boss called bookit.com to cancel a room reservation within the cancellation and hotel policy guidelines and was on hold for more than 10 minutes and never reached a live person. He asked me to call them (the next day, outside the cancellation guidelines), and I was on hold for more than an hour. I finally talked to someone and told them that he tried to cancel within the guidelines but was unsuccessful and that he wanted me to call and cancel the reservation. At first, I was told that it was the hotel policy to impose the penalty because it was outside the cancellation timeframe, but after I explained, again, that he tried to but didn't want to wait any longer on hold, the agent said she would contact the hotel directly and see if they would waive the penalty. After being in hold another 15 minutes, she came back on the line to say that the hotel agreed to waive the penalty, which we much appreciated. I just want to say that if you are going to call and expect to talk to a live person, you are going to wait a very, very long time. That is very poor customer service and I, personally, will never use their service.
