Do not use BOOKIT

I booked a tripr with bookit to mexico i had to cancel it abd have been getting the run around with my refund....basically i i have paid 1500 on the trip cancelled it and i am getting about 550 refund ......so i have lost about 1000 some *** about the flights cost more and i can use a coupon with American yeah after they get in your pocket......Then what is odd i tried to get back in my account with bookit and is says my javascript is disabled thats funny i was on it that morning then i called and now it wont let me on and this is on two different computers strange!!!!!! I will never use bookit or American Airlines ever.........people do not use!!!

Bookit.com ruined our vacation by relocating us from a hotel in town near the ocean, water taxi, bus terminal, restaurants, attractions to a hotel 3.5 miles out of town on the side of a highway. The only place to eat was the hotel restaurant which had poor food and was expensive. We needed to take a taxi to do or see anything. Time line: 2-26-2013 Booked trip. Bookit told us told everything was all set and took our payment. 2-27-2013 Hotel told Bookit (e-mail) there were no rooms available for the week of July 14 (our travel week), this is FEBRUARY we were traveling in July. 7-12-2013 PM JULY we were told the hotel was overbooked and we had been relocated. (The afternoon before we departed). 7-13-2013 Our departure date. WHY WHY WHY didn’t they tell us there were no rooms available in February??? We had time to find other accommodations or change our travel date. This company has no ethics USE SOMEONE ELSE !!!. Contacting them requires a 30+ minute wait on the phone each time you call.

Bookit in Atlanta, Georgia - Round-trip transfers from airport

Sure enough, they were there when we got off the plane, holding up a sign that says 'Book It' - they asked for our voucher which we printed from our booking email. There was only 1 voucher and they kept it. When it was time to go back to the airport we had NO documentation or a phone number to call for a pick up. The hotel said to call a cab and tell the cab driver that a 'Book It' representative would reconcile with him once we reached the airport. But no rep in site. Cab driver wanted payment of course so we paid for our round trip transfer TWICE basically. No instructions at all for our transfer back to the airport!!

Bookit.com messed up reservations and i get stuck with it

We booked a trip with bookit.com it was the worst experience i have ever had. We paid for an ocean view room and told the agent we did not want to travel all day. The agent put us in a tropical view room that was a lesser price and we still got charged for the ocean view room. We turned down a long flight and we agreed on a shorter flight. When we got home to look at the confirmation the flight down was good (4 hours) the flight back was 11 hours. that is not what we agreed to. When we called them to fix it they said nothing could be done. So not only did we pay the extra money for ocean view and not get it we also got the long flight. they admitted that they messed up the reservations but we are stuck with it

By far this is the worst Customer service . You can expect to be on phone for more than 2 - 3 hours and still nobody will pick the phone if you have to cancel the trip. But if you need to book they will jump right in. This is really terrible. I advise you to stay away...

simple resolution: if you cant afford to go - dont go!

If you need a payment plan for a vacation you probably shouldnt be going. that is like being on food stamps and going on vacation

Bookit in Wilson, North Carolina - No promised free tickets

Made reservations for a Las Vegas trip and was promised two free tickets to a show. I had 72 hrs to confirm these tickets. I used the voucher provided well within 48 hrs and it did not work. I was instructed to call MGM grand and when I did I was told this voucher had expired. Well after 5 phone calls over four months I was finally told I would not get any tickets. I can afford any tickets I want, it's just the principle. Won't be booking through this company again and will advise anyone not to use.

Bookit in Memphis, Tennessee - "Lost" My Refund

I booked a reservation in Feb for 3 rooms in N.O. For May. At the end off April I cacelled 1 of the rooms and immediately received a credit to my AE. The same evening I went on line and canceled the other 2 rooms. When I didn't receive the refund I called to check on it on it. I was told by that the refund was in process, however, my on-line itinerary showed it hadn't been credited. So a couple of days later called again - same answer - couple days later called again - same answer. I went to their FB page and sent a message and finally got an answer. Turns out I was right! There was a "glitch" with my refund and it was never processed. Now, they're telling me it was sent to AE but AE still doesn't show they've received it. HORRIBLE CS. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!
