Bookit - Online Booking Review
Just booked a vacation on bookit.com and when I called to ask if they price match I was insulted my one of there customer service reps as he called me a *** *** lady. I brought this concern to the corporate office and they told me that they reviewed the call and I am lying, so asked for a copy of the call as I know what was said and they said it was against there policy's. I will never book on this site again
Bookit in San Antonio, Texas - The Days Inn is 3 star?!
Their 3 star mystery hotel was the Days Inn? Are you kidding me?! Bookit can't be trusted! I will never use them again! Rep stated that star ratings has nothing to do with quality, said it had to do with amenities! BS! Fire her for lying. Typical National Chains: Days Inn, LaQuinta Inn. One Star Usually denotes independent and name brand hotel chains with a reputation for offering consistent quality amenities. The hotel is usually small to medium-sized and conveniently located to moderately priced attractions. The facilities typically include telephones and TV′s in the bedroom. Some hotels offer limited restaurant service; however, room service and bellhop service is usually not provided.
Bookit - Ruined my vacation, costed me hundreds of dollars and headache
Booked a trip 3 months in advance, 3 nights stay in vegas, 4 nights in LA. Last night in vegas they called saying they couldnt book the hotel. I spent hours and hours on phone, wasting my night for me and my crew. They couldnt get another hotel "in my price range". So i slept in car with my pregnant GF and other members in a diff vehicle. Stressful, yes. Due to this my gf was very stressed and started spotting. Hospital bill of 1500$ which is thankfully covered i think under my benefits... but still another wasted day. So i wanted a refund for my entire trip for ruining it and my phone bill. They could only cover a portion of phone bill because 90 of the minutes were under my plan for airtime minutes. Which is *** because of the phone time with them, they used up all my minutes and in turn caused me lots of more money calling other hotels etc. Caused us all a lot of stress, hours and hours on phones. All i wanted was a refund of entire vacation and reimbursement for my phone bill. But that isnt possible and they are the worst customer service ever. I wish i could sue them but i live in canada. not sure if its worth all the process.
Bookit - Tried to change hotel date.
I booked a hotel stay through bookIt. About 6 weeks before trip my plans changed and I needed to change the check-out date. I called and was told it would cost me $25.00 to do it by phone in addition to the costs of changing the date. I tried to do it on line and the site wanted 20.00 before I proceeded to change the date. After several attempts to change it on-line I gave up. This cost me one night stay and a lot of grief. Will never use again. I've used several other booking companies and never had a problem.

Bookit - Unauthorized Cruise Date Chages Review
Me and my husband booked a cruise with book it.com . The first date we pick a month before the cruise they called and said it was booked. The second date we picked the same thing. Call customer service Ms. Donkeybutt Erica got smart with me because they kept changing our dates . Now it's in November 2014.They first said we pay boarding fees on arrival at port, now we have to pay in advance. (No refund).But never ever ray again.
Bookit in San Francisco, California - Worst Service I've ever had in my life...Ever!!!
A couple months ago we reserved a hotel in San Francisco and when we arrived we were informed we did NOT have a room!!! We were STRANDED!!! The hotel and Bookit.com were both aware of the problem at 9am!!!....but they did NOT think to call and inform us at all!!! Instead, we arrived at our hotel ready to check in and head to the concert we had tickets to, but instead had to sit on HOLD for an HOUR to even talk to anyone, then they preceded to put us on HOLD for another HOUR! Meanwhile 2 other family with kids were in the same situation!!! San Francisco was totally busy that Saturday night!!!...every nice hotel was BOOKED!!! We ended up having to book a room at a one star hotel on our OWN for even more money than the 4 star we had booked through Bookit.com!!! Just imagine what a one star hotel is like in San Francisco!!!...yes!!!...cigarette holes in the sheets and plungers next to toilets....and who knows what kind of bugs we might have encountered!!! We FINALLY got a hold of an agent who refunded our booking and said she would talk with her supervisor regarding a credit...however she NEVER called me back....even when I left her multiple messages!!! Then we finally decided to call one last time and NOBODY would get us a supervisor!!!...instead we were placed back in the automated cue multiple times!! When we finally spoke to someone they offered us a $50 credit ONLY if we released all liability for the the situation and would NOT be able to review them!!! This review was worth soooo much more than $50!...so we refused the credit!!! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!
Bookit in Dunedin, Florida - A Guide On How to Lose $300 In An Instant.
Bookit.com did not disclose refund policy and then upon cancellation issued unexpected refund "fee" of $300. Bookit.com totally scams buyers with a "No Refund" rule. Don't buy from them unless you are 1000% sure that all travel plans ae going to work out (i.e., that you won't be needing to cancel for any reason, even a death in the family). The website functions off of a small team of employees who strictly read from scripts and cannot be expected to act professionally beyond what materials they are given. In fact, they become very rude and unethical with you, the flustered customer. If you cancel, let it be known that you will pay two nights for a vacation you will never see. Bookit.com never mentioned to us that there was any kind of cancellation fees on the phone and went on to DENY this when we attempted to cancel our credit cards. They lie through their scamming teeth! Also, Good bye hard work and vacation! It really hurts me as a human being and a nurse that I lost two days of work over this terrible company. I lost $300 for booking and then cancelling a 5 day trip to Mexico over the phone, ONE HOUR after booking. They will also charge you to cancel over the phone, so make sure if you really need to cancel, that you cancel via their scam ridden website. If you are lucky and cancel quickly after booking, the airline (which is not affiliated with Bookit, thankfully) will be full refunded. Do not expect any mercy from this business, they are a profit oriented contrivance that does not consider for any special conditions (whether it's in the form of a refund OR as special request-if you tell them it's a special birthday, forget it) that the customer may need. Do not expect any communication to pass between Bookit.com and the vacation vender to be received. I noticed this when we used the website before for a trip to DR, the vender had No Idea we even had a anniversary to celebrate. This is strictly a one-time shop and pay without hopes of return ( or any customer service) kind of business. I will never use this site again for "good" deals, they are comparable (at best) to other sites anyways, and they have lost a good customer for their crazy "policy" for life. I plan to use Expedia (who has never failed me and also has a reasonable customer return policy) for the rest of my trips requiring a flight. Overall, a terrible experience and terrible customer service from some totally rude and low class employees.
Bookit - Room Booking Review from Princeton, New Jersey
I was planning my honeymoon with bookit.com online .. Had the resort and dates I wanted all set .. Selected the rooms we wanted and were ready to submit payment .. The website gave us an error msg and stated that they have booked the airlines but not the resort.. So I was asked to call in bookit.com customer service number ! I ended up staying on the phone for 2 hours !!! The first rep put me on hold at one time for almost 20 Mins trying to confirm that the airlines was booked ! I'm like wtf the airlines is booked it said that I need to book the resort!! So then finally I speak to a manager . His name was Charles waterban (I think couldn't understand his last name ) he tells me that to book the resort with the flights I already was charger by American Airlines will cost me $250 more than what I was being quoted online on bookit.com... He offers me a $50 Credit and says that's all he can do !! I wasted 2 hours with this *** company and they have no sense of customer service to try to keep the customer happy !! What a waste of time I will never deal with this company ever again and I suggest anyone else looking to book a vacation to never use this company.
I booked a room in Portland Oregon for 2 nights, I found the location where i wanted to say and clicked on book it. but the location i thought i click on wasn't the hotel they gave me. The hotel was American best Value Inn , much to my surprise they have 2 locations on...
