You're FIRED!!! ... WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE for a US-based corp.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The data portal requires finishing a page before moving on.
  • - Directions are unclear, causing confusion.
  • - Customer service is bot-like.

1) First red flag:

Data collection portal forces one to complete a page before going to the next. Ergo, this keeps the user from going through and identifying all the information needed before filling in the data. The company needs a developmentalist, a learning specialist, a competent English major, and a skilled business consultant to help make this process 'user friendly'.

2) Second red flag:

The 'directions' for use are not well-written; not clear; not specific, especially with customer service being behind a Berlin Wall --- (e.g. 'your' used over and over... yet never specifying which 'entity' was the 'your' at each point of the data collection.

Throughout the data collection, there were three possible entities to be described as 'your' ... and this nuance was completely missed, creating confusion and lag-time for approval. This meant lost funds!

This was the second sign of lack of ability and a poor product.

3) Third red flag:

The customer service functions like a third-nation-based or run by A.I. bots --- neither able to handle tier-two complexity. No access to verbal support to fix a 10 min problem = drawn out 'Micky Mouse' email exchanges that were totally inept. This = lost funds! #BonterraSucks!

Loss:
$10000
Pros:
  • Takeover left an inferior product

Preferred solution: Cover the cost of what we lost via their inept product.

User's recommendation: RUN AWAY !!!

Cannot cancel until the month of your renewal

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Bonterra takeover worsened the Network for Good experience.
  • - We canceled; we weren't using the software.
  • - Cancel only in renewal month; 8 months billed.

We used Network for Good for years, but when Bonterra took over things went downhill. We were not using the software anymore so decided to cancel.

They told us we can only cancel the month of our renewal, so we are expected to continue paying for 8 more months for a product we do not use. What a way to treat a non-profit. And not having a phone number listed on their website so you can talk to a person is not good either.

We used to be able to call Network for Good anytime we had an issue. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

User's recommendation: I would never recommend them

Cannot set up bonterrs payments

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Customer support declined after Bonterra bought Network for Good.
  • - New payment system is hard to set up and lacks clear instructions.

Bonterra bought Network for Good, a company that helps non-profits raise funds. Since Bonterra took over, customer support has declined.

Additionally, they have a new payment system that is very complicated to set up. There are no instructions on what is needed to set up payments, what forms, etc., and many glitches. We have spent hours trying to set it up. There is no customer service, no phone number, and only a vague support number that does not go into specifics.

We are so frustrated and losing time and donations because of it. No one returns our emails, etc.

Bonterra, we wish you never bought Network for Good. Shame on you.

Pros:
  • Offers product
Cons:
  • Does not tell you how to use them

Preferred solution: instructiongs on how to use their payment system

User's recommendation: do not trust bonterra
