Paid him and didn't show up to finish the job
He never contacted me back. My lawyer sent him a letter.
He never responded. The department of Agriculture and Consumer protection tried to contact him to no avail.
I also find out from the department of Agriculture that he doesn't have a license to practice here. I bet you he moved somewhere else to try to use other people.

He was supposed to change our tiles in the kitchen, Dining room, the bathroom, the laundry room, the foyer, and the fireplace face. While doing the job he talked us into painting the dining room, bathroom, and the laundry rooms.
He said that the job would take him 3 days. I told him a week would be fine with us. He stated the work on June 2, 2023. Today is July 28, 2023.
He called us around July 1st to tell us that his son is sick, and he is in Texas taking care of him. I haven't seen him since then. He did only 3/4 of the work. He begged us to give him the rest of the money.
Since we have known him for 5 years, my wife convinced me to give him the rest of the money. He still didn't show up to finish the job. I told him that if he doesn't show up I will call my lawyer.
He laughed and said that he would never steal my money he will show up. Until today i haven't seen him.
