Paid $500 deposit for a two-bedroom apartment for my parents (the apartment was a "demo" unit, and they were hesitant at first to rent it out; when we agreed to the rent asked for--a little over $7200/mo. with meals and assistance--they perked up and agreed to renting out their "demo"). They acted sweet and caring regarding my parents (Dad was eager to move in; Mom had mental health [dementia] issues and didn't want to leave her home). The first night there, I pulled the call cord to call for help for my dad to use the bathroom--the cord FELL OUT of the wall!! I called the front desk on my phone to get help. 15 minutes--no help and my dad REALLY needs to go. I stepped out to get help for my dad. The "help call" number for my dad was not showing up (turned out that the number had not been set correctly for my dad's apartment! Additionally, I noticed that a LOT of 'call light' numbers were flashing, but the staff didn't seem to notice or even care!) My dad stayed overnight for a total of 1 night, but ended up going in and out of the local ER due to diabetes (the rehab center he came from totally screwed up his medications). By his 5th night there, he was sent to the ER AGAIN! (My sister had stayed overnight to keep him company. She called for help when he became seriously disoriented to have his blood sugar checked. It was WAAAAY too low and then the 3 "nursing staff" were arguing over how to use the 'pen' device that they had NEVER used before calling paramedics!!) Dad was in the ICU for 4 days before he passed. I had his personal belongings out within 24 hours, told the staff that my mom was not coming (she had NEVER lived there!!!) and asked about a refund of the rent paid. I was told that "corporate" would contact me (they NEVER did!!). Dad died June 7; personal belongings (some clothes, dentures and other personal items) were removed on June 8. On June 9th, I sent an email clarifying that my dad was no longer a tenant (again, my mom had NEVER "moved in") and to please refund the June rent (with a request of a list of items being refunded or NOT being refunded). Got a check for $362--Bonaventure KEPT 0VER 82%!!! When my sister called, they told her that our mother had been the "primary" tenant (um, she NEVER MOVED IN???) and that we had "never" sent an email to let them know that she was no longer a tenant (again, HOW can she be a tenant when she NEVER MOVED IN???). These 'people' do NOT care for the residents OR their families. They are OBVIOUSLY in it for the almighty dollar!a

a large number of "Drive-by Directors" are a lot of problems here ( North Creek in Bothell Wa.) A huge amount of Mgt. Turnover. Seems to be no Leadership from both On site Mgt. and Corp. Many employees that can't or will not speak English, or try too. "Caregivers" will not take any direction from residents in their care. To start off, my wife and I have lived at "North Creek" in Bothell for over two years. We have seen a Large number of Directors come and go here. I lovingly call the position, and who is there at the time "Director du jour" I can understand why Corp. has a hard time keeping this position filled. Why would anyone want to stay at a site that has so many problems with employees showing up late, or just not showing up, Care givers that don't know what they're doing and no one there to train them in the proper way to give care to the semi &;;;;;;;;amp;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; totally invalid residents. I've seen Mgt. blunders so big that if they were in a Combat situation they would have gotten their command shot to *** I've seen the cooking staff, along with the waiters and Waitresses in the dinning rooms so slow, and so mismanaged that it's a wonder anyone gets fed at all, With that every time one asks for something the standard answer from most of the wait staff is "We don't have any", or "I think that's on the next truck". I've seen the cooking staff after a Christmas dinner, or Thanksgiving dinner back a car up to the back door and load all the food that was not eaten into the car, and take it home to feed their families, and not given to the residents as leftovers. The residents pay a lot of MONEY to stay here, however I don't see any benefit from the funds being payed. To Corp. I will say this, as in a chain, or any organization. "Your only as strong or good as your weakest link" Bonaventure, all you need to know is this..... I know ten people, and those ten people know ten people, and those ten people know ten people. If I was the CEO of this Fracked-up Organization I would apologize to the residents and staff of North Creek, and throw myself on their mercy. To anyone thinking of moving here. Run, not walk as fast as one can, and find another place to live.

We pay extra to have them help him put on clean depends and clothes and assist with weekly showers. The daily help does not happen and I have to email or text them to give him a shower almost every week. I am getting ready to email them again for this weeks shower which was suppose to happen on Sunday, May 17, 2020. Why should I have to do this?

Horrible management. Does not care for the residents in the community. Puts on a good show while you tour to get you in then everything you ate promised isn't available. Should of seen the signs of how unhappy the employees are, not much going on, amd no one really socializing. Go elsewhere, not a friendly, or pleasant place once you move in. Biggest mistske of my life moving my mom in there.
