Their billing error

Unchanged, they keep sending bills to our sons address.I have left it with they have the money, we do not so sue me for the $129 if you need to.

Original review Mar 24, 2025
My wife went in last August for a scan costing $129; we paid for the scan the same day. In December, we received an email stating they mistakenly refunded the amount and were sending a debit card.

We were out of the country and would not be coming back, so we asked them to refund our credit card, and when we saw the funds, we would repay the bill. We were told they could not do that; they would have to send a debit card. We stated we were out of the country and would not be back. If they could contact us via email, we would authorize them to use the card they wanted to send us to repay the bill we already paid.

They again stated that wasn't possible and the only option was to send a card. We told them not to send a card or a check, as we no longer lived in the country. They sent a card anyway to our son's house. To try and end the situation, we asked our son to authorize the card and pay the bill to end the now three-month ordeal that we have spent over 10 hours trying to help them get repaid.

Our son tried to pay the bill with the card and was informed the card had a zero balance; there was a charge made to the exact amount in Ohio. We reported fraud on the card to Bon Secours, to which they wanted to mail us a form. Again, we informed them that they were instructed not to send the card in the first place and we were out of the country. They also said they would have to resend another card, to which we told them was not possible and not to send a card.

After three months, there is nothing left to do. Until I see the funds back in our account, I will not repay a bill we already paid. At this point, they are now talking about collections, which is interesting since they have the money; we do not. We have given them options we were willing to do to help them correct their error, and in return, we are told it will go to collections.

At this point, they will have to go to collections and take us to court, as we refuse to pay a bill we already paid, and they confirm that we paid the bill. I have never seen such incompetence in my life, but this is how they do business.

Pros:
  • Hospital staff was great
Cons:
  • Were not willing to assist their error

Preferred solution: Refund on the same card we used and we will gladly pay it or allow us to authorize them to use the card repay the bill. My last suggestion would be to write off the bill since in the end it's just accounting THEY HAVE THE MONEY!

User's recommendation: Look elsewhere

Disrespectful doctor

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Doctor Manjo Chawal This doctor is a lier he tells his patients lies and he rude he told me that I should get my vital sign equipment out of my car and take the person by the signs my own self. I didnt get rude with him not at all.

He prescribed the person some medication and sit here take this didnt explain why he should take. It didnt go through none of that wouldnt treat the person by calling him in the antibiotic for his foot, knowing that he was treating him for his diabetes. Dr. Chihuahua violated a HIPAA violation.

He neglected to ask the person if he could discuss an issue that the person had because someone else was in the room and the doctor didn't do that so that's a HIPAA violation. We didn't say anything about that either the doctor said that he was gonna call in she neglected to ask the person if he could discuss an issue that the person had because someone else was in the room and the doctor didn't do that so that's a HIPAA violation we didn't say anything about that either the doctor said he was gonna call in a prescription for some antibiotics. He never did that. The person had to go to the ER, and they told the ER doctor this doctor needs to be audited he needs to recommended and reported to the state board of medicine.

That's what I encourage. I encourage that this patient writing experience with this physician and reported to the state born in medicine and let them look into the records.on November I recorded the visit his nurse kept coming and getting him disturbing the persons appointment which was very disrespectful. We wouldve been satisfied if the doctor said he had an emergency could be rescheduled, but he didnt do that. He was real ignorant.

I got him on record though I got him on recording. I got the visit on recording thats for sure because I told him to refer him to an endocrinologist because he was not an endocrinologist and he was practicing as an endocrinologist, and he looked at me and told me maam you are so correct. I am not an endocrinologist then the person had paperwork for him to fill out. He wouldn't feel that out.

I strongly encourage the person to report him to the state board of medicine. Write up that experience and send it to the state board of medicine. The person ended up firing the doctor then the doctor had the nerve to send him a certified letter and say that we will no longer be your provider. Than the person sent him a message back telling him that he fired him first these are two men, but the doctor is a liar.

The doctor is a liar in the nurse is a liar. They lied lied lied they're always lying about sending in prescription. he started him on a new beta blocker. The person already take three beta blockers.

He never said this that or the other in reference to the medication you gotta talk to people about medication. You cant tell somebody here take to take The person already taking three blood pressure medicine then you gonna add a fourth one without explaining or not trying to take one of them away is very rare than a person takes four beta blockers then he got bad at me because I told him that Im in the medical field and my daughter is RN really he is a slum Doctor and again. I have encouraged this person to take their time and write up his experience with this doctor, the short period of time that he was treating him I have reached out to his nerves and I told her that I have started him on the new medication sent her a copy of the blood pressure This Lady never responded. this how they do that thats why they need to be reported.

They think they can just do what they wanna do. I read the reviews about Doctor Chawal People aint lying about him
