Warranty refusal

Bought a new Poulan Pro self propelled mower just short of two years ago. Mower was not used commercially and only used to mow one average sized lawn.

Company will not stand behind warranty. Mower blew a rod while still under warranty. Company says that is not covered under warranty. Nothing in the warranty excludes it.

The mower was serviced regularly and recommended Oil was used in it. Company asks $474 for repairs. More than the new price of the mower. It has a Briggs and Stratton motor.

Briggs and Stratton would not do anything either. Where can I get help with this matter?
