Body By Design - Personal Training Review from Hastings, Michigan

I hired keegan malloch for personal training. Big mistake. In a short time it became obvious he didn't know what he was doing. Upon looking him up online i found out he is a convicted criminal who did time for burglary. Complaints upon complaints online. Lon g story short I tried getting out of my contract. He would not honor his own contract. I lost over 1000.00. I know karma will get him. Don't hire this fraud for anything. He is a big time thief.

Personal Training today suffers from a multitude of issues including it's over used and overrated.

Many fitness buffs, novice worker outers or those recovering or looking to improve a condition or injury could do just as much on their own after taking some classes, observing, asking questions and learning on their own-I know old school.

Also like many occupations there are many certification organizations and types. There are easy or hard programs. There are easy(you'll get what you paid for regardless) or hard instructors teaching these trainers.

Many trainers got their results with raw talent, genetics, legal and/or illegal supplements so when they talk diet and routine be leery.

Many trainers dumped all their money into training & supplements leaving themselves with no money or time for others things banishing themselves to life inside or on a gym floor. Many trainers are failed jocks knowing not much else besides the inside of a gym or supplement display at a vitamin store. This is also why a training contract & paper work can turn into an administrative nightmare. Many trainers simply parrot what they learned in class but don't understand it or updated it themselves.

Same could be said for many professions but just because the trainer is selling good health and fitness does not mean they are qualified or sincere.

I'd say learn about what you want to accomplish and how you want to do it by reading, observing, asking questions or taking classes on it.

Learning is a continuous endeavor. The big thing with working out on your own is form and what the exercise is trying to accomplish and what it could affect for the good or bad.
