Dishonest business practices
- - Money paid to cover SC taxes and registration; paperwork never arrived.
- - Partial refund of half was received; the rest remained unpaid.
At the time of sale, money was collected to pay the taxes and registration fees in my home state of South Carolina. I kept checking with SC DMV for completed paperwork and a check from Boca Powersports, but it never came.
We finally agreed that I would pay the taxes and registration fees and the dealer agreed to refund the money that I paid to them for these items. While I did receive a partial refund of half of what was owned, the dealer refused to send the remaining money owed to me.
Be VERY CAREFUL when dealing with this dealership. They are dishonest.
Preferred solution: Refund of full taxes and fees.

Unsafe merchandise and false info on motorcycles
- - Seller asked for an extra $1,000 after a listing error on a $22,000 bike.
- - Battery and key fob dead; clutch failed causing a fall; warning lights came on.
I bought the bike off eBay. They had a buy it now of 22000$, I offered 21900 and they came back and said they made a mistake and asked for another 1000$.
The feedback suggests this is regular practice for them as they have done this to others. I got the bike and the battery was dead and the key fob was dead so the bikes key fob. The key broke in my hand the 1st time I tried it in the fork locks. 160$ at HD.
Clutch went out after an hour of riding and I went down Im my yard in grass. I got bad burns on leg from clutch going out and bike going down. No damage to bike. Idle speed on dewy grass with no clutch and hit brakes.
Engine light, ABS light and temp light all come on after 5 minutes of riding. Contacted seller and mark at bocaratonmotorsports wants to blame all tha on the batterey going dead. Battery went s dead cause key fob battery was dead and the bike thought it was being stolen so the alarm went off whole time and ruined battery. 212$ Harley Davidson disagrees fully.
Codes = new water pump/1000$ abs sensor 100 and Im having them do an 18 point inspection. This is just an initial look. May cost more once they actually get it in to look in august. Codes come back indicating possible electrical issues.
Seller tried to blame the clutch going out on Battery!!! The clutch cylinder was over flowing. They topped it off with new fluid and did not bleed brakes. I bled them and the fluid in line was nasty and air perculated out for around 20 minutes.
Then mark of bocaratonmotorsports stopped contacting me. So far we are at almost 1500 in immediate repairs on a 2015 Harley Davison cvo limited that was stated to be perfect running and looking. The bike had wax all over it like they went its sold stop waxing! All the chrome is pitted, flaking off and there are many rust spots on bike.
The photos did not show any of this and the description did not either, it was also not mentioned when I called and asked about the bike. There is No help from eBay no help from seller. eBay states they will only help with major engine issues. They will not cover ANY of the damage and there are no consequences for seller except - feedback.
eBay instructed me to look into small claims court, and other consumer protection/complaint type places in Florida including Florida attorney general.
