Bob Rohrman’s Honda in Schaumburg

If you want to purchase a used vehicle, DO NOT get one from Bob Rohrman's Honda in Schaumburg. I purchased a 2006 Nissan Xterra a couple months ago and have had a few big issues with it since.

After only a week of having it I had to have the brakes and rotor's replaced, a vibration from the engine while in idle, and the check engine light came on. I called the dealership over a month ago and had to leave a message telling Razak (the salesman who sold me the vehicle) the issue's I was having with the car. He promptly called me back telling me he would see what he could do about the issue's and also try and set up a date later on to get my spare key with keyless entry. Needless to say he never did anything because I never received a call.

This dealership is more concerned with getting vehicles off of the lot, and after that you are left to fend for yourself. They told me the vehicle was in great shape and there was no need to worry about anything going wrong with it. That statement couldn't be further from the truth.

It makes me even more concerned when I think about the fact that I told them I was a veteran who served in Iraq and was really looking forward to getting a newer vehicle. If they will not serve those who serve their country with the utmost respect than just think how they will serve you.

Bob Rohman Honda in Schaumburg are crooks

NOT BUYERS REMORSE/BUYERS BEWARE!!! They have an F rating with the BBB/

On June 20, 2012 While waiting for my oil change and minor repairs I was pleasantly approached by the sale representative by the name of Razzak Khader and his manager Mohammed Hussian.Everything he said allowed me to engage trust and confidence in the purchase. When I asked, Mr. Razzak why there was no sticker price in the window, he stated this was because it's a special edition, and it was what they used as a Demo car. He assured me not to worry that he drives a Mercedes because he deserves it and I deserve a nice car.

We wrote up the figures on a sheet of paper and he said that the finance guy would draft the final copy and not to worry they would take care of me. After I went into Matt Ashford's office and we discussed my credit rating. I signed a total of seven documents feeling that everything was transferred in the fashion it was presented to me by what Khader had written and verbally told me.Before bed I took out the contract to read it one more time and unbeknownst to me, the contract they drafted had 6.99% interest and payments of $392 per month, for 72 months!!! Mr. Ashford stapled information to the contract covering the core financials above. Why would I take an already high car payment of $280.00 per month and only owe $11,800 for four more years to a payment of $392.00 for six years? How could I afford a now $31,665.60 vehicle? There is no other explanation other than these men orchestrated this intentionally to defraud me! Crooks in Schaumburg!

Robert Arnold.an attorney, said it's up to the dealerships discretion but to return the vehicle and ask for my car back. As I walked over to Mr. Khader he looked at me straight faced and said what happened did you buy a warranty or something else. I wasn't in the office so I don't understand why you paid that much. Unfortunately, Mr. Mohammd took a couple days off and that Mr. Ashford had the day off. Mr. Khader told me that he didn't know what happened and why did I sign this contract? He sent over Mr. Shenkman who responded,"This is not his problem, sorry you have buyer's remorse, and that he will personally tow the vehicle back to my house and charge you for a tow if I were to leave the vehicle". Mr. Shenkman gave me a new contract for showing a 4.9% so I could get the special at my credit union for 1% under otherwise he suggested I learn to read the contract. Legally I don't have any recourse. I was duped! However, he said he was always under the impression that Schaumburg Honda is a reputable place and they would probably work with me given the unforeseen events of this purchase. The court of public opinion would be my only option.

These men ruined owning a new car a satisfying experience. I truly understand the term American Greed and now know why this country is in the mess it is but I never expected to be defrauded from a Honda dealership of this caliber in my own back yard. To think we get accused of profiling but in retrospect I feel they targeted me as a woman and laughed at how the three of them scammed a *** American woman.

Respectfully,

Denise M. Bianchi

This is typical of all Bob Rohrman's dealerships. The word needs to get out for everyone to stay away from any of them.

Very rude people at the one I dealt with.

Have never and would never buy or recommend anyone to buy from them. They are all about money not customer satisfaction.

1.) Nothing is a fabrication it is all fact. The figures that were discussed were not on the contract.

2.) Really ...6.99% when I did get the loan at 3.9% from my credit union.

3.) I do have 72 months...get your facts straight.

It is true that you can not please everyone all the time as this review represents, but for this review to be filled with so much fabricated information it deserves a response.

1) All figures were discussed PRIOR to the customer ever agreeing to buy the car or entering the finanace office. The payments of the car were discussed at length prior to agreeing to buy the car.

2) Credit was discussed with the customer PRIOR to the customer ever agreeing to buy the car. This included a payment and rate discussion as based upon the customers credit rating.

3) Term of 72 months was fully discussed and disclosed as customer did not want the higher payment at 60 months.

4) Staples hold papers together, no effort was made to obscure or hide any of the financial numbers.

5) Schaumburg Honda held the contract and allowed the customer over 1 week to return with her CU check. This is not common practice but we extended this option to the customer in an effort to help her.

In the end, Schaumburg Honda did not handle any of her financing and allowed her to handle her financing elsewhere.

Schaumburg Honda will continue to do its best to please every customer as we have for the past 27 years of business.
