New wheel alignment policy.

I used to go all the time to Bob Jane at Toombul because when dad was running the store the car was road tested to ensure that it drove straight. Now that dad has retired & the son has taken over they have a new policy when doing alignments that they will NOT road test your car due to the respect for your vehicle and speed limits that prevail around our T-Marts. So you spend money to get a car that no longer drives straight. We'll, I have a new policy also. If you want to do alignments but not road test to check your work for accuracy, then screw you. Will no longer be going. They blame everything except their workmanship. If your car is driving straight then don't waste your money on alignments because you will pay for it to be worse. Would not correct it as they had suspected that I had recent suspension work done. Vote with your feet people if your current repairer does crap work then leave. Incompetence at Perth Bob Jane

It has now been two months since Bob Jane, William street broke my car. They put the wrong size tyres on my AWD Nissan Murano, on 04/03/23. Chris, the manager there, refuses to take responsibility for his incompetence. My wife isdisabled. She has lots of appointments and classes, and as such cant walk far. As such we have had to use Uber and Taxis, which has cost us hundreds of dollars. I am happy to send you all of our previous correspondences. At this point i will contact consumer affairs and/or pursue other legal avenues. Thank You Mathew Wilding

Preferred solution: Repair/replace the transfer case that they ruined with their incompetence. THEY PUT THE WRONG TYRES ON MY CAR.

I rang the Rockingham store for a quote to check the tracking on my car the female who answered had no clue what I was asking for I repeated I needed a quote to check my tracking FOUR more times and still she had no clue so I then asked her if she could put one of the fitters on as they would know exactly what I wanted she then LAUGHED at me and HUNG UP been going to BJ for years and up till now theyve allways been great but wont be going back any more , service ? they now couldnt SPELL it BTW the address is Dixon Rd Rockingham and thats not listed on the drop down tab.

Called in at port Kennedy branch on16/9/22 for a puncture repair tax and was quoted 40dollars for repair all good card out waiting to pay next minute after tyres was removed from rim I was told it was my lucky day as they were doing free puncture repair as a promotional deal.invoice # 27757 .next minute tire is unrepairable due to sidewall damage from rim no marks on rim and I said it was caused by machine when removing the tyre. Impossobile said the receptionist ?.? Presume she has a cert in tyre changing!,! Spare fitted and proceeded to have a second option on tyre damage from another accredited tyre dealer and was told this damage is possible from tyre machine removal. Nobody seems to move in this establishment until after the event and then the manager seemed to be concerned over another lost scam to replace tyres due to their negligence.A sorry at least would have been nice and an offer to replace the tyre due to their negialiance but no not a word.Staff training may also help .Not the first dissatisfaction with this branch.Greg Gander 046705****

BOB JANE T-MARTS-trying to extort cash from me

long story short, i made an insurance claim for new rims for my car. the bob jane t-mart franchise rep' (shane) at devonport in Tasmania AUS got his facts wrong and ordered 4 rims instead of the 2 he was authorised (by my insurer) to fit to my car. the insurer paid their share(for 2 rims only) and i paid my excess amount to bj 's. 5 months later bj's have come up short (financially) 'cause they sold 4 rims but only 2 were paid for. i was made aware of this and offered to repay the remaining amount, after all i had the rims on MY car. the then secretary (rebecca) offered the solution of returning 1 rim to cancel out the debt. of course i took the offer and returned 1 rim. now 12 months on bj's are still persuing me for the remaining debt of $196, their reason for this is 'cause the rim i returned was used and not brand new.(it was taken of my car of course and returned to bj's). i've tried to reason them only to be threatened with legal action....and so the saga continues, i'll keep you posted.

BOB JANE T-MARTS. aust/ strange way to do business

in january of 2011 i approached bob jane t-marts in devonport, tasmania (australia) to handle an insurance claim. i had 2 of the 4 wheels on my vehicle damaged by road impact. after talking with the insurance company the sales rep at B/J said the insurer would cover 4 new wheels as we(myself and B/J) could not find 2 to match the ones on my vehicle.my wheels were no longer in production. so i waited 3 WEEKS for the new wheels to arrive, they were fitted and the claim authorised by my insurer. what i was NOT told was that the insurer only agreed to 4 wheels if i paid for 2 out of my own pocket, this information was not passed onto me by bob jane t-marts. now here we are 6 months into the future and i get a bill from B/J for an unpaid amount of $296. the extra amount i should have paid when i got the new wheels and paid my $300 excess payment for the insurance claim!!! what a terrible way to do business guys....SHANE ELLIOT you should be ashamed of yourself.( and sacked!!)
