Horrible! Be Warned.
3 horses were hauled from CA to VA. Horses arrived in bad shape. One has a permanent career ending knee injury. Company did not accept responsibility for the condition of the horses. Their insurance company fought the claim. Had to take legal action to get some of the vet bills paid. Vet bills continue today with the seriously injured horse. Avoid this company at all cost.
Current employees DO CARE
I have only worked for BHHT for a couple years now in the office, so I cant speak for the past. Currently, however, we have great drivers (most of whom are very experienced with horses) and office workers who care VERY much about the horses. When we have them at our layover I love to go out and talk to them and give them each some loving attention. That isn't my job, but I do it on my lunch breaks! Of course things can happen over the road, things that are unavoidable. They are animals after all and can be unpredictable... But we really do our best to care for your babies.

WOW. All these reviews are quite disconcerting. I am simply looking to move my daughter and her horse to SD eventually. I am researching transport. I think I will haul him myself in my trailer and just take the trip in stride. I am not a professional anything or rich but since he is a living critter i will do it myself. Dont think i trust anyone. If i make error at least i cansue myself. Decision made.a
tom hubbard lets drivers leave knowing that they are under the influance of marjuina. my job dutys at bob hubbard was to power spary the trucks and trailers etc etc. a driver last month got back from a run i went to move his truck to wash it when i got in i smelt...
I was hired to wash trucks and trailers clean inside of the trailers clean the barn. any ways last month i went to wash a truck that just got back driver was solo. when i sat down in the truck to move it i noticed there was majurina in the cup holder. I told sally the human resorse lady she went to the truck confirmed that it was marjunia said the driver was going to be drug tested. Sally told TOM HUBBARD about it!!! I seen tom talk to the driver "mike" a few minutes went by the driver came up to me and asked why am i making it hard on him! I told him you are driving a semi under the influnace. he said i have been driving for 40 plus years i never had a accident. he then went on to say that tom is not going to do anything. I watched that driver get into the truck and leave. I went up to TOM HUBBARD and asked him why did he let that driver leave. His response was that he will deal with him later. I told tom he should have dealt with him right then and there and i told tom that he better pray that the driver does not kill anybody!!! a week later driver came back was told that he had to take a drug test. driver cleaned out the truck.. They REHIRED THAT DRIVER LAST THURSDAY on 8/25/2013 Would you want this company to haul your horses or better yet kill a member of your familey because the owner does not care and this driver has been suspended before.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but the fact that Bob Hubbard Horse Transport is "all about the money" and do not care about the horses they transport is very well documented in the MANY postings on this website. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!! There are alot of other companies that do care about the horses and they are the ones that are worthy of your business. It is very obvious that they really don't care Please check other websites to mverify the aove comments. Dated January 2nd, 2012. Have a great day and be sure to hire a reliable company
Bob Hubbard Horse Transportation killed my horse
Don't ever, ever use Bob Hubbard Horse Transportation. My horse arrived completely dehydrated with his gums split open by the driver using a stud chain on him!! My God, he's a therapy horse, that carries handicap children on his back. I had to call the vet out immediatly because he started to founder from being in the trailer to long and not having any rest time. They drove 38 hours straight through. After a month of daily vet visits, I had to put my baby down due to the rotation of his coffin bone... I hold Bob Hubbard's Horse Transportation fully responsible for this.
