Bob Howard Toyota
Mislead and almost Decived
Not wanting to spend a lot of time at any Dealership, I decided to shop online. and since one of my Granddaughter just bought a Chevrolet Malibu, at Bob Howard, I felt this was a
good place to buy.
Therefore, we (Wife/I) study all the information regarding Toyota Vans, and Crossovers, and we changed our mines, and decided on a 2014 Venza XLE, according to what I read on the internet, several were still available, and being on a fixed income this selection was final.
Then I proceeded to contact Bob Howard Toyota, Internet Sales, and was provided, a very good quote. I contacted the internet Sales person (Kayla Goad) ,which wan not available at times, then I was connected with one of her sales associates ( see attached e-mails).
Each and every time I spoke to with one of these individuals I specially, asked “are you sure”, and each time the response was yes, As I mentioned my wife and I are in our senior years and don’t like sitting for hours in any office.
Well on Saturday afternoon 11/29/14, we went to Bob Howard, and asked to speak to Kayla, we were told she was with a customer and this other sales person, said he could get the information and continue the sales transaction. This associate, found the quote and I told him I was ready to buy and wanted some-one to look at my auto (2010 Chevy Traverse) and assign a trade value.
But before we started talking the Internet quote, This associate starting with trying to sell me a 2015 Venza LE, (with less options). when I said no, I wanted the one in the quote (which I was Told was available, And the a sales person, who identified himself as (Dave ?) Kayla`s boss, and again he continue with the trying to sell me something I didn’t want.
I guess I finally convinced all that I wanted the 2014 Venza XLE. and as I was told ? is wasn’t in the Lot, but they would located it and he left to join the search team. well after several minutes, and he came back and said they found the Venza, but couldn’t find anyone at the location to speak too regarding transporting.
The this sales Manger (Dave) started telling me that he felt I wouldn’t be happy this car because it had been at this location since 12/17/13 without selling (can you believe this)!
Now by time we were getting very tired of being lied. mislead by all that we thought were there to help us.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Impersonal Salesperson
The salesman was cold and impersonal . His standard answer was I think so while looking at his phone.
When I asked him what they were giving us on our trade in he said $500, no more like $50 on paperwork . sales managers and salesmen listening to gangster rap. The vehicle was delivered to us unwashed with part of window sticker and glue still on window. The van had the TPMS light on .
The salesman offered we could bring the van back on Monday and they would look at the TPMS problem. Our experience was so bad I chose not to return.
BOB Howard has an UNFRIENDLY customer service
I had my car serviced for oil and tire rotation at Bob Howard at Kelly Avenue, Oklahoma City. I took an appointment after asking how long it would take, they said it will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. I dropped the car at 10:50 am and time goes buy and it was 1:15 pm and I got no call from the service representative. I had my wife drive me there to see what is going on. I walked to the service desk and the representative started looking at his computer for few minutes and said let me see what's going on. He walked to another office where 3 gentlemen were setting in front of another set of computers and came back saying there is a nail in the tire and we can't fix and we have to replace the entire tire. I asked him why you waited for almost 3 hours to inform me about this issue. Also, the service manager was not professional in his response and didn't honor the complaint.
Too many middle men in this service station and lot of conflicting information from the mechanic to the customer.
I am very unhappy about this situation
Bob Howard Toyota did not honor the ExtraMile Service Reward program
I origianlly purchased my toyota from Bob Howard Toyota Edmond, Oklahoma. The EstraMile Service Reward program came as a part of my purchase. I did all the tire maintenance and rotation according to program, however last July, I had to buy 4 set of tires.
According to Toyota "ExtraMile Service Rewards program" if I have 9+ rotation then I am entitled to $600 credit toward the purchase of my new tires. When I showed my certificate to dealership, first they acted like they don't want to hear it, then instead of them honoring program, they passed me to call "the ExtraMile" program. I called them and send them every thing they asked for. It has been two months, didn't hear any thing so far.
This was something that dealership could easily solve and give my ceredit that I deserve, but instead, they didn't honor the program that they advocated so much about it during the time of my purchase.
I am very unhappy about this situation.
