No star. Company charged for service not received
- - Techs diagnosed throttle control actuator; diagnostic cost $200 plus $27 shop.
- - Repair quote $1,100; warranty coverage denied for a new 300hp Suzuki.
Contacted Bank of America to dispute charge
It was diagnosed to be a throttle control actuator and the cost to diagnose was $200.00 and $27.00 for shop . Even though they it was at the dock where they went. The cost to repair was $1100.00 dollars. This is a new 300hp suzuki with under 100 hours on and they refused to cover any work under warranty .
Suzuki has done nothing to help with the 6 year warranty they refused to honor . They are a suzuki dealer. I refused to let them rip me off and took it to another dealer who repaired the boat with a $3.00 o ring and labor. Needless to say the diagnose by the technicians was inaccurate and I refused to pay for that service .
Boat and motor was instructed not to charge card and 4 weeks later ran the $227.00 thru without authorization. They also would have replaced the acuator if I had left it up to them to repair for the $1100,00.
Rip off artist ... beware.
Preferred solution: Full refund
