Resolved: Very poor customer service and unprofessional speaking from service manager.

We dealt with and spoke to service manager, Jonathan Chattin, concerning a 2011 BMW 740 LI reprogramming for an installed "used" transmission. He was told verbally and through email, that the transmission was used. Mr. Chattin gave us, Moore Automotive of Willingboro, New Jersey, an appointment for 6 a.m. Dec. 24th, and we had the vehicle towed to him on the evening of Dec. 23rd. On Dec. 26th, Mr. Chattin informed us, after numerous calls from us, concerning the progress of the vehicle, that the work could not be done because there was a used transmission installed and that he was never informed that there was a used transmission installed. Again, if it can't be proven about the verbal information the email is always there. Mr. Chattin informed us of some recall work that needed to be done to the vehicle and even that wasn't performed. It's on the customer invoice that we declined to have the recall work done, and if that were even true, why would we have left the vehicle there until the 28th? He also stated on the invoice that the transmission fluid was topped off. When we got the vehicle back, there was less than two quarts of fluid in there. We at Moore Automotive are upset customers so can you imagine how upset our customer, the owner of the vehicle is? Mr. Chattin's manner of speaking was so unbelievably unprofessional, it was hard to imagine that someone that worked for BMW, could be so nasty to a customer.
