Unsatified with service

When I lost some shingles in a storm, they came right away to put a patch on. But after many calls, never came back to do permanent repair. After a month, I got someone else to fix the roof. Then I received a bill for $175.87 which I think is a bit high for the work done. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Employee Works 3rd shift Stricter procedure in place limiting the odds of potential jobs sold ASSUMING the chasers even go. 3rd shift is KNOWN generally to get higher pay per hour for a couple of reasons. 1. It's a health hazard. 2. it is harder to find employees who can and will work the shift and 3. Mostly, business slows down. In my position, not only does it slow down, it then gets CAPPED by the company! Not to mention we sign a non-compete that literally keeps us from advancing onward with our recent experience/skills acquired from position, should another opportunity present itself! Also, commission is a possibility with my position at a whopping nickel for every dollar sold! So far we have a) a restricted procedure to follow (as opposed to day shifts) limiting our odds at the jobs sold b) our commission is solely based on the chasers drive! A general rule of thumb in the career world of SALES, is that the base pay is usually uncomfortably low! It is set that way to motivate the salesman to sell! The low base pay is made to be unlivable so the employee is naturally MOTIVATED to SELL! NOT WITH THIS COMPANY! The chaser (who is in control of OUR COMMISSION) gets paid a BASE PAY OF $50,000 A YEAR! In addition to the $50k, they are lavished with a company vehicle, a laptop, a cell phone, a company credit card for company expenses (gas, equipment, supplies etc) and their insurance is 100% paid for entirely. To a lot of people I'm sure that 50k a year plus a 100% free ride on insurance, a vehicle for you to use and never have to pay for anything on it from your own pocket, a cell phone that you don't have to pay for and service you never get a bill for. A laptop to surf the web with and complete what's necessary for living life on, gifted to you. Saving you THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS EVERY YEAR, EVERY MONTH, EVERY WEEK....$50k ONTOP of that IS NOT considered unlivable or even uncomfortable! Then should you decide to I dunno actually work a little harder like get out of the vehicle and attempt to walk around in search of someone &/or leave information on the door vs just drive around and not even get out of the vehicle you'll get EVEN MORE through commission on jobs sold. WOW! What a set up! And if they don't respond to the chase we sent within 10 minutes (probably because they are asleep) we get to CALL & WAKE THEM UP to do their job! And from what I can tell, these chasers do not even have a measure of accountability. They do not get penalized for NOT DOING THEIR JOB! So people in my position and the commission we CAN make RESTS ON THE SHOULDERS OF THESE OTHER EMPLOYEES! Then comes the stricter procedures that only 3rd shift encounters! So if the day time minimum number is 100k, nighttime's minimum is down to 50k if that. Some markets/rooms will disqualify it all together for the night shift prohibiting you from sending a chase out altogether and to slap it on a report for the AM. Which by the time the report goes out and the chaser arrives on scene, it has literally been up to over 8/10 hours! So the event happened long enough ago that competition has come and gone and God knows how many of those have been lost to competition simply because we don't make our chasers GO! So recap bullet point style: Get paid the same per hour as other shifts even though a) our odds of activity die way down b) we work a shift that is dangerous and comes with greater risks and sacrifices we make during the day as we sleep that no other shift requires! ie: families! c) we are given a procedure to follow that makes the already slow activity (compared to day) *see a* and the means of which our commission rests on, even tighter than that of daytimes therefore increasing the chances of the chaser actually getting that job. In other words, our commission is severely at a disadvantage. d) We have a non-compete of a 2 year period working against us should we be presented with a better paying opportunity to better provide for our lives and our families. e) The disadvantage of possibility in reference to our commission is even more at a disadvantage simply bc the company thought it wise to do it backwards. Leaving our severely disabled commission at an even further point of disadvantage by putting its potential on the shoulders of another. Another that is already paid quite comfortably and then lavished with incentives that at the end of the day keep more of their money in their pockets already/as is. Our commission rests on them! A position that requires another to make a sale so that WE can get our shot at our commission. f) Oh, and our commission is a nickel out of every dollar only g) Additional unfair/unbalanced discrepancies that exist that I have not mentioned (see below)So that is where we are. Although there is one more point to mention. During the day, the majority of the working citizens in the US are at work. This is how our society runs. A typical 9 to 5 shift is the regular day to day norm of our society. Seeing as how this is the case throughout our entire nation...our call center will receive calls from potential customers or returning customers facing an emergency and need our services. So when the call center gets a call, they need a log made (that's us) and so they literally reach out to the person working that room/market at that time, and with some basic info they provide pertaining to that call in, ask us to create a log in which the company can work out of from that point onward. WHOEVER IS IN THE ROOM AT THIS TIME creates this log with THEIR NAME ON IT! Meaning, the commission from this now log...goes to them!!! I call them day time free-b's! BET U Cant GUESS HOW MANY OF THOSE 3RD SHIFT GETS! I'll tell you this much, the call center has a full staff working during business hours (maybe a total of 15/20 possibly) and come night time, that number goes down to 1.So again, how many of those free-b's do you think 3rd shift sees? Give up? I'll tell you. Close to non-existent is how many. So there is an explanation of letter g above. And I'll spare you the additional corruption on how a chaser actually gets the position of being chaser! But I will say this much - it's high school all over again! It's very click-y! You've got to KNOW SOMEONE! How BS is that?!?! ADVICE TO THE HIGHER UPS: RESTRUCTURE THE WAY EMPLOYEES GET PAID AND GIVE YOUR 3RD SHIFT A HIGHER PAY PER HOUR (IF YOU KEEP TIGHTENING THE REINS ON THE PROCEDURES DURING THE NIGHT TIME). WANT TO SEE A COMPLETE VAMP UP IN COMPANY SELLS....GIVE THE CHASERS A REASON TO SELL!!!!! THE TECHNIQUE IS ONE THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN SUCCESSFUL AND IT WORKS!PLUS, IT SAVES YOU MONEY! DUH! ALSO, YOU NEED A MANAGER INBETWEEN COLE & THE MANAGERS OF EACH AREA... PERIOD! ACCOUNTABILITY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SLIP THROUGH THE CRACKS & HAVING AN ADDITIONAL PERSON HERE (OR 2 - EASTERN/WESTERN) COULD MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE ON PRODUCTIVITY. AND FINALLY- PUT PEOPLE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION S WHO WILL BRING WITH THEM HIGH ETHICAL MORALS WHO VALUE FAIRNESS AND OPPORTUNITY. MATT

Robert Garret Construction Manager

BMS CAT was recommended by the insurance company to replace/repair damage from an ac leak. Since my daughter and I are in the high risk category for COVID and my two and four old granddaughters live here also we were very concerned about having workmen in the home. We were informed by BMS staff that the workers would wear masks and cloth booties in the home. We were assured they were aware of our concerns and would accommodate our needs. The workmen sent were professional and did wear the appropriate gear. They also accommodated us by being the first call of the day. The problem came at the end of the repair. Bob Garrett, construction manager, needed a paper signed upon completion of the job. The job was completed on 8/18/2020 a little after 3 pm. Since Corona I have been working from home and was on a phone session that started at 3pm. The workman was waiting for my signature. My daughter could not interrupt me to sign my name. She called Bob Garrett to explain I was working and was not available to sign the completion document at that time. She did not know how long I would be on the call and didn't want to keep the workman waiting if he had to be somewhere else. Bob's response to my daughter was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. He was quite upset and informed her that this was only a $2600 job with a $400 profit margin and he has already accommodated us enough. He also let her know that he had to send a guy home yesterday (8/17/2020). Not sure what this had to do with us since there were no workers here on 8/17/2020. Maybe it was a miscommunication between management and staff. The actual job was over $4000+, which included both mitigation and repair. Bob's anger directed at my daughter because I was working and unavailable was uncalled for and unprofessional. If I had been at my office working I would not be home to sign until 7 pm. It appears there is a limit to Bob Garrett's ability to accommodate and we reached it. In addition, I would have thought the room would have been completely cleaned and ready to move back into. There is a white powder left all over the floor, which we will have to clean up and there are some areas where the painting could have been better. Overall the workmen were professional and seemed to understand our concerns. It appears management is not so professional. I was told by the insurance company BMS would ask for a deposit. This did not happen. I offered several times to write a check and was told they didn't need it. To date, I'm still waiting for an invoice. Having a ceiling collapse is annoying but to have someone telling you they have accommodated you enough and you're cutting into their profit margin is more annoying.
