BYes, very angry with this company as so far downhill they have gone is near pathetic. Once their absolute most loyal customer to utter disgust, distaste and distain for this company. I have owned 12 and more pair over 30 plus years and all the many many people I have raved to about these boots. I can assure u they will toss u aside and this is how they treat their customers after so much loyalty and dedication. They WILL toss u aside and then lie to you as in their bogus warranty. The most expensive boots they have, I purchased them many years ago and was literally saving them for when the others one of 8 current pair look grubby. I wore these boots 3 times, then cleaned, polished, and conditioned and waterproofed them and put them in my closet for safe keeping. I recently pulled them out with much utter glee and after 2 dog walks,...they literally disintegrated under my feet. Absolutely shocked!!! Warrantied them and was told wear and tear...SAY WHAT?! I told them they are only worn a handful of times so how is this wear nd tear?? No answer. But however,...she did say she "appreciated my disappointment and frustration with a denied claim". What does that even mean??? She also stated, "these are well traveled boots and have likely seen some many great adventures" . She is actually accusing me of lying and most certainly a lying insinuation. With this my tone has absolutely changed. And how shocking is this trite, condescending, accusing and assumptive attitude from a .. Sr Mgr of...customer experience.??? That being Catherine Lalonde. She further used different reasons/excuses, one after another to deflect from any accountability. Do some research and as sole disintegration and is a major issue now with these boots,...and all are rejected because of wear and tear some near a year or two old it's all over the internet. I asked "even if this is wear and tear,...what does that have to do with disintegrating soles. No answer. So do they not want u to wear your boots to see if they will disintegrate? It does not make any sense and again, no answer. This is complete nonsense and *** I suggested that possibly as the soles are seriously compromised would this possibly make them look like they have been worn more. No answer. No benefit of any doubt. I also have the exact same pair that are older than these and the soles are in good shape still. The newer ones are the nasty ones. One can only deduct Mz Lalonde may have got her position because she is very good at deflecting, rejecting and not covering warranties and good at denying claims. The is clearly a material flaw and should be replaced 100%. U might want to think twice making any purchase from Blundstone. What was once a very reputable integral and honourable company is now just so full of crap. And this is how they treat their 30 year extremely loyal customers.
