Another claim they have not paid is $1200, get the runaround, nothing gets resolved.
They make a mistake and pay me as out of network when the company is in network. They send me a letter acknowledging their mistake and ask me to send the money back, I do.
Guess what, they never paid the company, left me with a customer responsiblity of $925.00. Whenever you call or write them, they play ***. It's like every time you call you get a different customer service rep, they never let you speak to the one you spoke to prior. They make you fax all the paperwork all over again.
It goes nowhere. You end up having to get an external review or going to small claims court.
BCBS today, terrible company.

It is the same with humana and I bet every other health insurance company out there.I used to call and call make hundreads of copies of bills and medical records. Finally I got fed up.I started contacting the insurance commishor in our state whenever they started their c r a p.I would call them only 1 time now and then I report them.Guess what the bills actually started to get paid.But since humana screwed so many in my work they are getting different insurance next year hopefully I will not have to go thru that stuff all over again.Humana lost a very large account many factories, should have done what they were paid to do.
