Assaulted by Staff at the Blue Martini
I hope that you will read this entire review regarding The Blue Martini in Phoenix, AZ. The series of events happen to me at this club on New Years Eve night. If I were you I would not waste my time, or money at this establishment. Stay far away! I've visited The Blue Martini twice before this incident, and I thought this was an upscale nightclub. I had recommended the Blue Martini to many people before my last visit on December 31, 2013. I had planned ahead to celebrate the New Year at the Blue Martini Phoenix. My sister was in town, and I invited two other friends to celebrate the New Year at the Blue Martini. I live about 40 minutes away; so I made reservations to stay at a Hotel nearby after the Masquerade Party at the Blue Martini on New Year's Eve night. I paid in advance with the event planner several days before the event. I purchased two tickets for a total of $80 for my sister and myself. I arrived shortly after 8pm. The beginning of the night went very well; except it started to get very crowded around 9pm. It was beginning to be very hard to move around. There was an open bar from 8-10pm. So, around 9pm the line for the ladies room started to get very long. My second trip to the ladies room was around 10:40pm; I stood in line for about 10 minutes or more before reaching the inside of the restroom. I was standing with a friend talking while waiting in for my turn. I was next to enter the stall. I noticed that my sister was walking into the ladies room approaching one of the two African American ladies tending the restroom in the middle of the restroom. She seemed upset as she questioned one of the ladies tending the restroom regarding people jumping the line. My sister was in the back of the line, and she saw women coming into the restroom without standing in the line. I was next to go into the stall, but I approached my sister as she was questioning the lady. I ask what is the problem? My sister left the restroom upset, and went to the back of the line. I noticed that a stall came available, and since I was next in line I entered. Before I could close the door one of the African American women working the stall burst in and began punching me in my face and head. I was caught of guard, so I tried to cover my face to block the violent punches. Someone from behind tried to pull her back, and I was able to block my face. As she came back toward me she began throwing more punches. Somehow, women in the restroom were able to get her off of me, and I rushed out of the restroom. As, I exited the restroom; a security guard met me. I began explaining to him that a woman tending the restroom assaulted me by punching me after I entered the stall, and attacking me for NO REASON. He said let's go talk to the owner. I exited the Blue Martini to the back of the club with the security guard, and the owner met us in the back of the club. I began telling him my story of being assaulted in his restroom by people he hired to work the ladies room. He seemed very uninterested in my incident; and quickly said, "I will give you $40 dollars back and you can leave. I was insulted by his response, and I responded that the money was not important to me, and that I had just been beaten and attacked by his staff. I also said I paid $80, and was not looking to get my money back. He walked away without acknowledging or apologizing on what had happened to me in his club. This owner had no empathy in dealing with the situation. I immediately started dialing 911 to report the attack to the police. I explained what happened to me to the 911 Operator. The Operator said that the police was already at the location. I found out by the 911 Operator that there were numerous incidents that happened all around the same time at the Blue Martini that night. Three of the incidents were regarding the African American women working the restroom. I had to file another police report the next morning due to the fact that the police had numerous incidents, and for some reason mine was not filed. I was injured very badly from the attack. My eye was blackened, sore and swollen. My back was bruised and sore. I had a very bad headache for 48 hours after the beaten. I was in shock from the attack out of nowhere. I was also insulted by how the owner handled the assault on me by his own employees. Again, I would STRONGLY recommend that anyone considering going to the Blue Martini stay far away from this establishment. The service provided by the management staff, and the hired service is the worst I've ever experience. I plan on suing the Blue Martini for the assault that happen to me New Year's Eve night in the establishment by their staff.

AWFUL SERVICE
On 4/12/13, my friends and I decided to go to Blue Martini in Boca Raton for happy hour. Biggest mistake and what a waste of time, Blue Martini did not have enough staff to handle the crowd. I had to leave my table and go to the bar to get my drinks and even though there was 2 bartenders only was working. The other one was just standing there. Then to make matters when I commented to the manager (she was useless too)that I had did not have a server, she just smiled and walked away. She was rude and uncaring. Blue Martini only had 1 server in the area I was sitting and she can by once. It took forever to get another drink and to pay tab was even longer.
