Dropped insurance

I brought this policy when and I called bcbs everymonth, My grandson had this insurance policy since age 5. We were grandfathered in. I changed the deduction in 2022 and they never got the payments right. I called every month and made a payment. On Oct 31 was sent a letter saying they were stopped the insurance as of Aug. 2023. But was still taking my payments every month and never said anything on the phone to me until Nov. 2023 when I call to make Nov. Payment. No one could help me help and even said they couldn't talk to me. I was also told there was no one to sit down , face to face with.

I moved from Iowa to Arizona and wanted to know if I needed to change any of my insurance. The AZ rep (Ms. Lopez) got an IA rep on the phone and we did a 3 way conversation comparing IA to AZ insurance. I had an answer in less than 5 minutes. What a wonderful experience.

Preferred solution: I got my solution and am very satisfied.

User's recommendation: I have never regretted getting BCBS. Yes they are sometimes more expensive but well worth it.

this is the worst insurance company in my 50 years I've ever come across. They screw you on every corner that they can. I WILL NEVER go back to them. It's like having no insurance but you still pay for it

My health-care provider robbed me of $10,000

AZBC&BS were taking $115 a month through Chase bank auto-pay as designated by healthcare.gov. Unbeknownst to me, my tax subsidy was dropped and my health-care provider began taking out $1,300 a month for 7 months! My bank reimbursed the last month of $1,327 while I tried to re-coup the remainder thru AZBC&BS, to no avail, and my federal taxes (they allowed $530.00). So in my book, either my health-care provider or healthcare.gov owe me $7,223.30. Thank you for this forum.

All plans don't total explain what's covered.

Plans don't completely explain. Company never gave orientation of what each plan is. Bobs of anthem is a crock. Another obamacare. I might as well get private ins. But not bcbs. What a bunch of ***. Service. Is also poor. I'm almost out of the regular med I take for epilepsy. When Im out there no other money to buy it. And insurance is not covering it. So I'll have to pay full price. If I end up being in hospital because of not havin his med. there will b a law suit. After this year will b changing to find my own ins.
