BCBS is horrible. Canceled coverage and still ran bank draft. After 2 weeks I still don't have my refund. Lied to many time from customer service. Premium to high and doctor would even accept it. Stay away.

The rep told me I would receive a visa card with the limit I choose which was 2000 dollars to which 79 odd dollars a month will be deducted every paycheck until paid...I have not received my card as if thus day..to which should have recieved before January..so that It will be available with money on card..so that I could use towards copays or any other cost that insurance won't cover..I called to inquire about the card that I still have not... My husband works for the Post office and they give us an open season every year to make changes with our plan. This year we wanted to see if there was a fee for service plan that could save us a few dollars and also incorporate my son who goes to school out of state and not have to pay for his health insurance twice (once down here as family and then at school). Read the fine print 1500.00 deductible / not . Something has to change In U.S Insurance companies Best insurance they offer ! ? U.S. citizens , Make funeral arangements , then you know the true bottom line , or move to Canada , the no/bull country . shocked and dissapointed .

Cancelled my policy never notified me. I paid my premiums they put the money on my account as a credit instead of paying my premiums.dumb *** They told me if I paid the late premiums they will reinstate my insurance. I sent them over 800.00 they kept the money and still told me my policy was being cancelled these bastards are lying thieves. They have such a bunch of mumbling idiots working there they screwed my account and now I'm screwed with... Read more

CEO Joseph R. Swedish can go *** him self what kind of business man have what seems like a million number and none of them get you to a real person and when you finally get a real person he/she can hardly speak english I cancelled my account 6 months ago and today my bank account was drawn down to 100 some dollars rate before Christmas tried calling all the numbers I call not in service they said my account was cancelled if I don't get my money... The worst health insurance provider ever. They finally processed my 1 year old claims after I reported them to the North Carolina Insurance Commissioner. Even though they lied about the situation, I am just happy I they are finally reprocessing my claims, even thought its been a year. Horrible employees and horrible supervisors, whom have no knowledge of what they are doing and what they are talking about. Im no longer with them. Thank God! Read more

I have been trying for 3 months now to get my newborn added to my policy and have been given the run around from day 1. I have been with bcbs for about 6 years now and I have never had such poor service. The customer service has not been helpful and every time I contact them about my application I get told something different every time. Very upset about the poor quality of service. Read more

Yes absolutely. My husband switched from a Walmart that had Aetna to a Walmart that had BCBS. We had met our deductibles with Aetna and they were to carry over . They did not so I have called a few times a month since March. After several months of stressful phone calls, everything seemed to be fixed and we were even told that we would be reimbursed for what we had to pay during the change.
