Refund Scam

I placed an order with Bloomin Bins (owned and operated by Ms. Stephanie Facey) via the company Cratejoy on July 14,, 2020. This order (#304570****, Basic Bloomin Bin Flowers) was a gift for a monthly subscription and delivery of various flowers to last one year. The cost of the package was for $252.00 Shipping for each monthly delivery was for $96.00 The total cost of this was for $348.00 After the first delivery (which was for seeds to grow herbs with an option for pay an additional fee to receive live flowers) I sent an email on August 26, 2020 to Ms. Facey with questions about this about this and also enquired into the cancellation policy. Over the course of several emails Ms. Facey informed me that I would not receive a full refund, but would only receive a portion of the $348.00 back ($252.00 would be refunded only). We conversed over email over the next few days when, not wanting to only recoup a portion of my payment I sent an email to Ms. Facey on September 10, 2020 stating that I did not want to cancel and that she should proceed with the subscription unchanged. Six days later, on September 16, 2020 I received an email from Ms. Facey stating that she had gone ahead and cancelled my subscription and would be keeping my money (~96.00). She solely made this decision to cancel my order. I did not give my approval for a cancellation, this was done without my approval. I have email records to confirm that all of the above is accurate. I would be happy to send them along if they would be helpful. I hope you share my concern that a practice such as this, selling a subscription and then cancelling it to keep the customers payment is distressing and predatory.

User's recommendation: avoid this company.
