Ordered one blind three weeks ago. Blinds Chalet sent me a tracking number, but the item hasn't moved in two days.

Was told that the blinds ship from China. The process has been very annoying. Will never order from them again.

So glad it's only one blind, not an entire house. Will do business locally moving forward.

Shameful practices!

I received my blinds 6 weeks later and after spending 1000 dollars, they were all wrong.

When i called customer service i was rudely told because i didnt buy insurance (What? Who has to do that for blinds?especially When their satisfaction guarantee promise is on homepage?). I was SOL and they wouldn't make it right. I said i wasnt offered it.

They said they would listen to phone tape and get back to me. After 3 weeks, i got an email saying they werent going to make it right, with no mention of phone call recorded, just that they werent fixing their error.

Its been 2 months of me emailing, calling again to try to resolve. No response

I am opening up a case against them with consumers and my cc company

Beyond dissatisfied and feel like i have been scammed

BEWARE AND BE SUSPICIOUS OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!

I ordered 3 blinds for a total of $578. The blinds arrived and were mounted per instructions.

There is a 1/4" gap between the rail and the mounting bracket. I contacted Customer support and sent photos. They contacted the manufacturer who offered to send me cloth to stuff into the gap.

I told customer service that this is a design issue with the mounting bracket and the head rail being used and stuffing material into the gap was an unacceptable solution. No further response.

I bought 3 Darkening blinds and they cale out short on length. I increase a little bit of the measurements en the sides because they cut it more than what I expected the first time.

I contact customer service and the lady told me that because I took the measures wrong I needed to look for someone to fix them.

I have been a customer of blind chalet until May 2018. They cut excess in the length in both of them and in both occasions.

I called them at 888-633-**** The lady who answered the call twice was not connected to try to look for a solution.

Won't recommend. The width I may understand eventhough with the first one they cut the sides more than expected. Then, What happened with the length. I increased it and it were still short on 2017 and 2018 orders.

These will never last with raising and lowering of blinds. Customer service, Emma Smith is no help. Out $1,072.00. BEWARE.

I would never hang these in my home!!! Horrible quality and customer service. I have called, emailed four times to no avail. Everyone I have shown them to agree that they look and feel so cheap for the price I paid.

So very sorry I gave them my money.

Will be calling credit card company tomorrow to dispute charge. Also sent to BBB.

Very poor quality.

Very thin plastic beads on paper thin acrylic bracket that extruded from wall. Very dangerous around small children.

$1072 for 4 blinds I would NEVER hang in my home. Called no help.

I spoke to a rep over the phone i mentioned that since i didnt receive my items yet then you should return 5 dollars to me since i didnt receive them priority and on time. She said she will check with manager on that.

And i never received a refund or even an email or phone call regarding that.

Not even an opology for delay. Worst customer service ever.

Same thing happened to me except I ordered "room darkening" shades and the don't darken the room at all!

How would a tiny fabric sample show if the room would actually darken from a full shade? The room is equally as bright as with no shade at all!

Sound like the customer should have taken advantage of the free sample program. Had he done this he could have ordered a product that met was he was looking for.

To me it sounds like he is the one who is at fault.

Take the time to see the material, they offered to send it to you for free. It bothers me when people blame others for their own mistakes.

Defective shades sent

They did send replacements, but only for some of the shades. I complained about the missing shade. They sent another replacement, but even the replacement shade was defective. We complained a third time.

In the fourth shipment, they sent us shades for the shades they already replaced in shipment 2 that were not defective.

We have had four shipments and are still waiting for them to send all of the shades we ordered without defects. We are still waiting on the one shade that they have sent twice, with defects each time.

No exchange for unsatisfactory product

Called to complain, was asked if I had ordered a sample, which I had not. Sent a sample. Sample did not closely match blinds, nor did it look ANYTHING like the online sample. Still refused to exchange.

I had several email exchanges and a phone call with their customer service. I explained I would order other blinds to replace the ones I was dissatisfied with.

Still they refused to do ANYTHING with the blinds I am dissatisfied with. I let them know I would be expressing my great dissatisfaction with them in any way possible.

I am so happy with this company, So in love with final setup in my bathroom, also after my first experience with this , I going to complete my entire house with them, good quality, good color, exactly what I am expecting and more, prices great , I can not to be more happy. thanks a lot and also , free samples are exactly what I ordered and received in 2 days after I request.

You should have ordered samples, they're free. It is common knowledge that pictures of any kind can look different on a computer monitor. Don't blame the company for that mistake.

What is an online sample? Sounds like this customer should have ordered an actual sample instead of ordering based on a computer image.

If they offer to send a free sample of the product you are ordering why would you not take the time to have them send it to you? Sound like you made the error, not Blinds Chalet. I've actually ordered through them and my experience was really good. I've referred friends who have had the same good experience as I have.

I wish people would own up to their own mistakes and not blame others when they failed to become an informed customer.
