We got a problem

Purchase some side skirts from these people for an Audi A5.

Theyre claiming them to be authentic Caractère brand side skirt.

Whether they are or not, I cant verify because all of the identification numbers have been Dremeled and drilled away!!!

This is what I found out

- Numbers are never drilled. Caractere molds this in. If its drilled out, that part is unverifiable by their own policy.

Why drilled serials kill authenticity

Caracteres Belgian HQ told another US customer in 2024: We never ship parts without ID markings. Removed numbers invalidate the part and warranty. We cannot verify authenticity without the original stamping.

No serial = no way to prove theyre real. Under UCC § 2-601 youre entitled to reject nonconforming goods.

> Genuine Caractere Automobile parts include a Certificate of Authenticity with matching serial numbers molded into each part. The parts received from BK Motorsports had all identification deliberately drilled out. Per Caracteres policy, removed serials render parts unverifiable and void warranty, constituting delivery of nonconforming goods under UCC § 2-601.

Where I come from when somebody does that something is stolen. Or its made to look like an original. Or fill in the blank but under no circumstances should serial numbers and identification numbers be removed from a brand new product unless something fishy is going on.

They went from telling me in the first email before seeing the pictures that this happens all the time its part of the manufacturing process numbers get removed when they clean up the product. Then I sent pictures and then they reverse their position and say oh no they come from the manufacturer like that

These people like cheddar [PERSON_NAME] , shooting themselves in the foot.

Then they throw the manufacturer under the bus

SMH

I gave them an option to refund half of my money for the inconvenience and for sending me a product that cant be verified because somebody removed the serial numbers and other identification marks, which is illegal.

They refused, so I did what I had to, as such they will read about it.

Thats like you buying a bicycle from me and then when you get it, flip it over you notice the serial numbers removed.

Then when you inquire about it, I give you some *** excuse like oh thats normal. Dont worry about it.

Or theres still three numbers up there, even though I noticed the other 12 were gone, you can still identify it!

Hahaha

I didnt pay 600+ dollars or something I cant verify.

I also didnt pay 600+ dollars for fishy stuff !

I was promised and guaranteed a superior product and received anything but that.

Either way, their response is completely ignoring the fact that numbers have been purposely removed from the product.

They said that they included the manufacturer in our email communications, which I have heard absolutely nothing from , only crickets and silence I dont know if they mean theyre Chinese manufacturer or theyre supposed Germanmanufacturer. I think theyre playing on both against each other and selling us whatever they can get their hands on.

When I reached out to their so-called manufacturer, the first time I went to purchase the product I heard absolutely nothing back. They supposedly forwarded the message to their distributor..

Im sure BK would love to have the product back, and considering they got caught with their pants down all they can do is hurl childish insults, in the face of actual facts.

They have refused to take responsibility at every turn, despite being responsible for selling auto parts that have legally required identification marks on them clearly removed!

You could tell these people the sky is blue and they would say no it isnt. Its navy blue.. You could show them a picture.,and they would say thats not navy blue, as a matter of fact thats not even a sky.

Somethings fishy about these people

Its OK.

The proof is in the pudding!!

Hold on wait,BK is saying thats not pudding.

I cant with these people hahahaha

No worries,your reported.
