Deceptive Practices of Customer Service after Software Purchase

Purchased their hotel management software for a client of mine trying to rectify a reservation tracking situation they were currently facing. After purchasing their software I discovered that they already had a platform in place, telling me they didn't need the one I just purchased. Approached the company in an e-Mail letting them know what had happened, but was told due to a lot of software piracy, a refund was not going to be possible. After several e-mails again explaining my situation, they agreed to process my refund after all, but also letting them know that I didn't appreciate being called a "Pirate" or thief for that matter. This was over a week ago and I still have had no contact from the company regarding the refund or any other follow-up for that matter.
