Bisk Education SHRM HR Program
I enrolled to Villanova online program for the SHRM HR program through Bisk Education University Alliance. After dealing with hardships I needed to withdraw from the class.
I tried to email them which their email they listed is not valid and they were rude on the phone or just refuse to answer me I called no staff person will not dropped me or withdraw me from the HR Shrm program.
They threaten to send me to collections and wanting me to pay 2k balance. Word of warning do not go through bisk education they are a sham.
Payment Review
I owed a book balance of 265.00. Which i was making payments of what I could afford.
Then received a email telling me my payments wasnt good enough and had to agree with what they wanted me to pay in 30 days or I would be turned over to a collection agency.
*** company that has no customer values. Don't use them they will *** over.

Bisk Education - returns and refunds
After enrolling in St. Leo's I received a call from University Alliance/Bisk Education stating I had to order my books through them.
After finding out I didn't have to use this company I cancelled my order via telephone with Bisk. They sent the order anyway, well after my phone call cancelling, and charged my credit card. I called, requested a return label and sent all back in same box exactly as directed. It is now months later and I still don't have my refund.
After leaving numerous messages I finally got a reponse stating they don't have the books. I'm pushing for the refund, but don't know what to expect. I wouldn't deal with this company ever again. St.
Leo's has terminated their relationship with University Alliance /Bisk.

I am a Bisk employee and have been recently conducting some research about the reputation of the company...which has brought me here. I would like to respond to the first post by Catalogs in saying that Florida State (assuming that is what you mean by Fla St) is not now, nor have they ever been a partner with University Alliance or Bisk Education.
I originally enrolled in Fla St through Bisk. Then I had consumer remorse and canceled.
They told me that I would have to return my introduction materials, I did, but they were returned. I paid over $30 to send that package and now they want to charge me for it.
I took Bisk classes from Florida Tec, and while they may not have been perfect, I didn't have any issues like the ones described. Yes the books are expensive when bought new, but no more than at a bookstore new.
The grading was a bit clunky at times, but whenever I had issues or questions, the professors responded quickly and were very understanding.
I came for a quality education that I could do on my schedule and that is exactly what I got. I am very proud of my Florida Tech Masters degree, which Bisk provides the background for.
I worked at Bisk / University Alliance for a week 5 years ago. I quit to go to something much better.
The complaints listed across the web are legitimate. Bisk is a sham company. Training consists of almost a cult like following of Nathan Bisk. Btw Nathan is a lawyer and CPA who had worked for Arthur Anderson.
You know the ones who committed FRAUD in handling ENRON and Worldcom.
I could go on about what I saw that brief time I was with them but it isn't worth my time. I just don't want to see people be ripped off by these people for a "certificate program" that is a sham.
Have recently considered a Villanova program and got contacted by University Alliance. Haven't signed up for anything yet and was glad to see this message string before I got caught in it. Thanks everyone for taking the time to share the concerns.
I just wanted to throw in my few cents. I was presured into signing up with them as well and also told I would have to buy my books through them to be able to get financial aid.
They hounded me daily about classes, books, fees. I was constantly called by several different people until I got enrolled. Then I was IGNORED. The class was unorganized, the homework was through a different school, and the tests often covered subject matter not in the assignments.
When I tried to drop the class I was told there were class fees, and cancelation fees. I am so sorry I chose them.
:cry Do they buy back books i have no used for my books from last quarter.
I have been enrolled with Florida Tech for one year now and feel satisfied I've received decent customer service. I am not an insider, but a master's student who has recently learned in the last semester I do not have to purchase my books through Bisk.
When I learned I could order my books through Amazon, or wherever, the enrollment counselor gave me the ISBNs for the books I needed. I ordered the books through Amazon and saved a lot of money. I also opted out of the Florida Tech workbook that coincides with the lectures included on a disk. I only wish I had known I could have done this from the start because books are so expensive when they are new and ordered direct from Bisk. It's just like any other campus bookstore, except you get charged shipping.
I document everything, keep receipts, and keep email exchanges for good record keeping purposes. I am happy to say I have not
had a dispute yet.
From my experience, Florida Tech, University Alliance, and Bisk Education are three separate entities. University Alliance provides the enrollment and class registration process, Bisk Education provides the educational material, and Florida Tech provides the education via University Alliance's online classroom. My guess is that Florida Tech found it a good business move to outsource the enrollment and online education rather than pay for and develop its own. If the UA and Bisk are such scams, why are Villanova, Tulane, and Notre Dame still aligned with those entities?
I unfortunately ran into Bisk in an attempt to attend Florida Tech Online. Don't do it...there is not enough space or time to cover 10 months of lies, inaccurate information and inconsistencies that I have had to deal with (3 months of which have taken place AFTER I withdrew from their "program").
Thankfully, I have kept copies of all written correspondence, fax cover sheets and have kept track of phone correspondence. But even with all of that, I am still having to deal with the run-around. I am now starting to contact Florida Tech directly, unfortunately, I think they got stuck with a bad deal hooking up with Bisk. I have had success dealing with FIT but nothing but headache dealing with Bisk.
I figure that if I keep telling my story, someone will have to right some wrongs. I wish there were a class action lawsuit against them, I have LOTS of documentation of their offenses.
It sounds like the comments by "No Drama" and "Not Over reacting" were written by Bisk insiders because they really don't understand what the situation is.
