AI Highlights
  • - The trailer was left unsecured and the coupler sat on the ball, causing bouncing.
  • - I won't return to Bish's and warn others to avoid this dealer.

They just sent me down the road with an unsecured trailer, terrifying. Brand new trailer, just picking it up.

Granted I should have checked for myself but assumed the tech at the place I was buying my camper trailer knew, well, how to hook up a trailerHe got the chains connected, brake wire too, did brake and turn signal checks. But wasnt too worried about the coupler lock and pin I guess..It started bouncing as I was going down the road its a miracle it didnt come off and cause us to roll. After it slammed up and down a few times I finally realized what was going on and pulled over to find the coupler sitting ONTOP of the ball. Its shocking to me that I made it as far as I did without losing the trailer.

I even had my kids with me. They were more than happy to make a sale tho. When they were Gardeners RV I was happy to give them my business but I can assure you I wont step foot on that property ever again. I would stay far away.

There are plenty of other large dealers in northwest Montana you can visit. And Ill bet the bulk of them wouldnt leave your family feeling this compromised.

Im sure the sting will eventually wear off and we will make some amazing memories with this camper. But what Ill always remember about Bishs is how we could have seriously been injured.

User's recommendation: Shop somewhere else, please.

NO RV Extended Warranty

AI Highlights
  • - Purchased a 2018 Arctic Wolf Cherokee RV with an RV warranty; coverage not activated.
  • - Factory defect burned front harness 19 days after purchase.

Purchased 2018 Arctic Wolf , Cherokee, 5th wheel, April 30, 2018. Also purchased the extended RV Warranty, for $2500.00 Was told it was a great policy for RVers.

Nineteen days later, due to factory defect, all electrical wires in front harness burn. Trailer is uninhabitable. So, Twenty Three days after purchase, I try to use my RV insurance, only to be told that I'm NOT covered. Due to the fact that Gardner's RV, DID NOT send the money to the insurance company, to activate my policy.

It seems that Gardner's RV holds everyone's money until they have enough policy holder's to make it worth their while to send in one check, to the insurance company. While all of us RV owner's think we have this great coverage, WE HAVE NOTHING, until Gardner's sends our money to the insurance company. Consumer needs to be told when this insurance will be in affect.

It Should be the day of purchase, that's the way it is with my AAA, insurance, and most other companies, I have ever dealt with. Disabled Traveler.
